ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հայտարարություն է տարածել Պաղեստինի պետության ճանաչման վերաբերյալ։
«Գազայում տիրող աղետալի հումանիտար իրավիճակը և շարունակվող ռազմական հակամարտությունն այսօր միջազգային քաղաքական օրակարգի՝ կարգավորում պահանջող առաջնային խնդիրներից մեկն է: Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը կտրականապես մերժում է զինված հակամարտության ընթացքում քաղաքացիական ենթակառուցվածքների թիրախավորումը, քաղաքացիական բնակչության դեմ բռնությունները և քաղաքացիական անձանց պատանդառումն ու գերեվարումը և միանում է առանց նախապայմանների նրանց ազատ արձակման միջազգային հանրության պահանջներին:
Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը միացել է ՄԱԿ-ի ԳԱ-ի բանաձևերին, որոնք կոչ են անում անհապաղ հրադադար հաստատել Գազայում: Ավելին, Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունն անկեղծորեն շահագրգռված է Մերձավոր Արևելքում խաղաղության և կայունության հաստատմամբ, հրեա և պաղեստինցի ժողովուրդների միջև տևական հաշտության կայացմամբ: Միջազգային տարբեր հարթակներում մենք մշտապես հանդես ենք եկել պաղեստինյան հարցի խաղաղ և համապարփակ կարգավորման օգտին և պաշտպանում ենք իսրայելա-պաղեստինյան հակամարտության լուծման՝ «երկու պետություն» սկզբունքը: Համոզված ենք, որ դա միակ ճանապարհն է երաշխավորելու, որ պաղեստինցիներն ու իսրայելցիները կարող են իրականացնել իրենց օրինական ձգտումները:
Ելնելով վերոնշյալից և վերահաստատելով իր հավատարմությունը միջազգային իրավունքին և ժողովուրդների հավասարության, ինքնիշխանության ու խաղաղ համակեցության սկզբունքներին՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը ճանաչում է Պաղեստինի պետությունը», - ասված է հայտարարության մեջ:
