Հունաստանում վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում ավելի քան 62 վայր է հրդեհվել շոգի և բուռն քամիների պատճառով։ Այս մասին հայտնում է երկրի հրշեջ ծառայությունը։
Ծառայության տվյալներով 62 օջախից 46-ն անմիջապես մարվել է, իսկ մնացածի դեմ պայքարը շարունակվում է։
Կլիմայական ճգնաժամի դեմ պայքարի և քաղաքացիական պաշտպանության նախարար Վասիլիս Կիկիլիասը հայտարարել է տեսագրությունների առկայության մասին, թե ինչպես է ուժեղ անտառային հրդեհ բռնկվել Աթենքի մոտ գտնվող Վարի և Կորոպի բնակավայրերի միջև։ Նախարարի խոսքով՝ «հրդեհը տարածվել է կայծակնային արագությամբ, սակայն փաստաթղթային ապացույցներ կան, որ պատճառը միայն եղանակը չի եղել»։ Գերատեսչության պետի խոսքով՝ տեսանյութում երևում է, որ մի անձնավորություն չոր խոտ է այրել այն վայրում, որտեղ ավելի ուշ հայտնաբերվել է վառելիքի տարա։ «Երբ հրկիզման վարչությունից, հրշեջներից և ոստիկանությունից թույլտվություն ստանանք, մենք կհրապարակենք այդ նյութերը»,- վստահեցրել է Կիկիլիասը։
