Հայաստանն ընդլայնում է պաշտպանական գնումների իր ռազմավարությունը՝ ձգտելով Հնդկաստանից ձեռքբերել ռազմական արտադրանքի ավելի լայն տեսականի, այդ թվում՝ ժամանակակից ռազմական անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր և միջին հեռահարության «երկիր-օդ» դասի հրթիռներ, հայտնում է Indian Defense Research Wing պորտալը։

Նշվում է, որ Հայաստանն արդեն ձեռք է բերել Akash 1S հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգը և քննարկում է հնդկա-իսրայելական արտադրության MR-SAM միջին հեռահարության հրթիռների և Akash-NG միջին հեռահարության հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերի ձեռքբերման հնարավորությունը։

«Չնայած Հնդկաստանը դեռ չի սկսել Akash 1S համակարգի մատակարարումը Հայաստան, ակնկալվում է, որ այդ մատակարարումները կսկսվեն հաջորդ տարի: Akash 1S-ը հակաօդային պաշտպանության ժամանակակից համակարգ է, որն ունակ է խոցել ինքնաթիռները մինչև 30 կմ հեռավորության վրա՝ ապահովելով հուսալի պաշտպանություն օդային սպառնալիքներից: Բացի Akash 1S-ից, Հայաստանը հետաքրքրություն է ցուցաբերել հակահրթիռային պաշտպանության երկու այլ համակարգերի նկատմամբ։ MR-SAM-ը, որը մշակվել է Հնդկաստանի և Իսրայելի միջև համագործակցության արդյունքում, արդեն արտադրության մեջ է և հաստատվել է որպես արդյունավետ սարք»,-նշում է IDRW-ն:

Ըստ IDRW-ի աղբյուրների՝ Akash 1S-ի մատակարարումները սկսելուց հետո Հայաստանը նախատեսում է իրականացնել MR-SAM-ի և Akash-NG համակարգի մանրակրկիտ տեխնիկական գնահատումներ՝ համոզվելու համար, որ այն համապատասխանում է իրենց պաշտպանական պահանջներին: 

«Այս գնահատումների հիման վրա որոշում կկայացվի MR-SAM-ի և Akash-NG-ի միջև»,-նշում է IDRW պորտալը։
