«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Իշխող ուժի և նրա ղեկավարի նյարդային արձագանքներից և ամենօրյա մարտավարական սխալներից կարող ենք օբյեկտիվորեն արձանագրել, որ շարժումը առաջին փուլում հասել է կոնկրետ հաջողության։ «Փաստի» հետ զրույցում այսպիսի կարծիք հայտնեց «Միասնություն» շարժման ղեկավար Արման Վարդանյանը՝ պատասխանելով Երևանում Բագրատ Սրբազանի գլխավորությամբ ընթացող շարժման և նրա արդյունքների մասին մեր հարցին։ Վարդանյանը նշեց, որ շարժման հաջողության համար պետք է փոխել նրա թե՛ տրամաբանությունը, թե՛ մարտավարությունը։ «Շարժումը պետք է մտնի ժողովրդի մեջ։

Մեղրիից մինչև Գյումրի, առհասարակ ամբողջ հանրապետությունում շարժումը իր առաջնորդի հետ պետք է շրջի և խոսի ժողովրդի հետ, բացատրի իրողությունները և առաջ քաշի համաժողովրդական նոր օրակարգ։ Հաջորդ կարևոր քայլը արհեստավարժ ստվերային կառավարության ձևավորումն ու հրապարակումն է, որպեսզի երկրի առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերների լուծման ճանապարհը մեր քաղաքացիների համար առավել տեսանելի լինի»,-նշում է «Միասնության» ղեկավարը։ Անդրադառնալով վերջին օրերին ոստիկանության կողմից բիրտ ուժի և հատուկ միջոցների կիրառմանը՝ Արման Վարդանյանը նշեց, որ «Միասնությունը» դատապարտում է իշխանությունների և իրավապահների նման գործելաոճը, որը, միևնույնն է, չի կոտրելու ժողովրդի ոգին, ավելին, ունենալու է հակառակ ռեակցիա և դառնալու է իշխանությունների վերջի սկիզբը։ Բիրտ ուժի կիրառումը նաև ցույց տվեց, որ Փաշինյանը ընտրել է ծայրահեղ ավտորիտար ռեժիմի անցման ճանապարհը։

Ինչ վերաբերում է պայքարի կենսունակությանը, Վարդանյանը վստահ է, որ այն չփոշիացնելու համար հարկավոր է ինստիտուցիոնալ դարձնել՝ զուգահեռաբար այն մաքրելով անընդունելի անձանցից ու երևույթներից։ «Հայ ժողովուրդը ելել է ազնիվ պայքարի, և անազնիվ ձևով այն մսխելը կարող է շատ թանկ արժենալ մեր պետության գոյության համար»,-ամփոփեց Արման Վարդանյանը։
