Հայաստանի վարչապետի աթոռը զբաղեցնող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը երեկ խոստովանել է, որ հենց ինքն է եղել 44-օրյա պատերազմի հրահրողը։ Իհարկե, նա բառացի այդպես չի ասել, խոստովանել է, որ իր մեծ սխալն այն է, որ դեռևս 2018 թվականին չի եկել ու դռնփակ ռեժիմում չի ասել, որ Արցախը պետք է լինի Ադրբեջանի կազմում և չկա Ադրբեջանի կազմից դուրս կարգավիճակի հնարավորություն։

«Ես ինքս ինձ չէի կարողանում դրանում համոզել և դա իմ ամենամեծ սխալն ու ձախողումն է։ Պետական գործիչը պետք է հասկանար, որ այդ ամենը պետք է վերցնի իր վրա, և ես այսօր դրա համար եմ դա անում, եթե ես ինձ վրա չվերցնեմ, ուրիշ ոչ մեկ չի վերցնի»,- հայտարարել է Փաշինյանը՝ ըստ էության խորհրդարանի ամբիոնից նշելով, որ զուր էին այն, գրեթե հինգ հազար հայորդիների մահը պատերազմում։

Փաստորեն, ըստ վարչախմբի պարագլխի, դեռ 2018 թվականին գիտեր, որ Արցախը Հայաստանինը չէ, բայց Ստեփանակերտի հրապարակում «Արցախը Հայաստան է և վերջ» էր բղավում՝ հանրության մոտ սին հույսեր առաջացնում, չէր պատրաստվում պատերազմին՝ հրաշալի իմանալով Հայկական բանակի և երկրի հնարավորությունները։

Երբ Փաշինյանի մասին խոսելիս նշում են, որ նա դավաճանել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը, ըստ էության, հենց սա էլ նկատի ունեն։ Իմանալով երկրի գործերի իրական դրությունը, բանակցային պրոցեսում առկա խութերը, նա՝ ինքը, որևէ ջանք չի գործադրել հանրությանն այդ մասին տեղեկացնելու, ընդհակառակը, բանակցությունները փակուղի է մտցրել, նախադրյալներ ստեղծել, որպեսզի Ադրբեջանը և Թուրքիան հարձակվեն Հայաստանի վրա, իսկ հետևանքները մենք հենց այսօր տեսնում ենք։

Միայն Փաշինյանի այս խոստովանությունը բավարար է նրան դավաճանության մեղադրանքով դատելու համար։
