«Նախագահ եմ, բայց նաև հայր». Բայդենը մեկնաբանել է որդու դատավճիռը

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը հայտարարել է, որ ընդունում է որդու՝ Հանթերի Բայդենի նկատմամբ կայացված վճիռն ապօրինի զենք պահելու գործով և կշարունակի հարգել իրավական գործընթացը։ Այս մասին գրում է The Washington Post-ը։
«Ինչպես ասացի անցյալ շաբաթ, ես կընդունեմ այս դատական գործի արդյունքը և կշարունակեմ հարգել իրավական գործընթացը, քանի դեռ Հանթերն ուսումնասիրում է բողոքարկման հնարավորությունը», - հավելել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը, որն ավելի վաղ ասել էր, որ ներում չի շնորհելու որդուն:
Բայդենը հավելել է, որ ինքը «նախագահ է, բայց նաև հայր», և ընդգծել է, որ ինքը և առաջին տիկին Ջիլ Բայդենը սիրում են իրենց որդուն և շատ հպարտ են, թե ով է նա դարձել այսօր:
«Շատ ընտանիքներ, որոնք ունեն կախվածության դեմ պայքարող սիրելիներ, հասկանում են հպարտության զգացումը, երբ տեսնում են, թե ինչպես է իրենց սիրելին դառնում այնքան ուժեղ և տոկուն՝ ապաքինման հարցում», - ասել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը:
Հանթեր Բայդենի փաստաբաններն արդեն հայտարարել են, որ պատրաստ են բողոքարկել դատավճիռը։
Նախօրեին ԱՄՆ նախագահի որդի Հանթեր Բայդենը երդվյալ ատենակալների կողմից մեղավոր է ճանաչվել զենքի պահպանման խախտումների գործով մեղադրանքի բոլոր երեք կետերով: Հանթեր Բայդենին կարող է սպառնալ մինչև 25 տարվա ազատազրկում և մինչև 750 հազար դոլար տուգանք։
ԱՄՆ նախագահի 54-ամյա որդին մեղադրվում է 2018 թվականի հոկտեմբերին ձեռք բերված Colt Cobra 38 Special ատրճանակի ապօրինի պահման, զենք վաճառողին և գրանցող մարմիններին կեղծ տվյալներ տրամադրելու համար:
Հետաքննության վարկածով` զենք ձեռք բերելիս անհրաժեշտ փաստաթղթերը լրացնելիս նա նշել է, որ թմրանյութ չի օգտագործել, թեև թմրամոլ է եղել մինչև 2019 թվականը։
