Мэр американского города Глендейл посетит Армению

Мэр американского города Глендейл Элен Асатрян с 11 по 20 июня будет находиться в Армении. Она примет участие в конференции местной демократии США - Армения, организованной Государственным департаментом Соединенных Штатов Америки и исполнительными органами городов США.
Как сообщили Новости Армении – NEWS.am в офисе Асатрян, мэр Глендейла прибудет в Ереван 11 июня. Целью визита является укрепление двусторонних отношений, изучение экономических возможностей и поддержка процесса культурных и образовательных обменов между Глендейлом и Арменией.
Асатрян посетит также Гюмри, возможно, и Капан, если позволит время. В ходе визита она проведет встречи с должностными лицами органов местного самоуправления Армении, представителями СМИ, предпринимателями и представителями общинных организаций.
Асатрян также примет участие в обсуждениях, касающихся укрепления связей с Арменией и городами-побратимами Глендейла в РА, демократии, стабильного развития, торговли, туризма и технологического сотрудничества.
Касаясь предстоящего визита в Армению, Асатрян подчеркнула, что она воодушевлена тем, что возвращается в качестве мэра Глендейла туда, где родилась.
