Հայաստանի գրողների միության մեծ դահլիճում տեղի է ունեցել արձակագիր, բանաստեղծ, ազգային-հասարակական գործիչ, ՀԽՍՀ և ԼՂՀ պետական մրցանակների դափնեկիր Մկրտիչ Սարգսյանի ծննդյան 100-ամյակին նվիրված հանդիսավոր միջոցառում։
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ելույթներ են ունեցել ՀԳՄ նախագահ Էդվարդ Միլիտոնյանը, ԱԺ պատգամավոր, «Ջավախք» հայրենակցական միության նախագահ Շիրակ Թորոսյանը, բանասիրական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր Պետրոս Դեմիրճյանը, ԵՊՀ ժուռնալիստիկայի ֆակուլտետի դեկան Նաղաշ Մարտիրոսյանը, դիվանագետ, թարգմանիչ Աշոտ Ալեքսանյանը, բանաստեղծ Խաչիկ Մանուկյանը, բանասիրական գիտությունների թեկնածու Սիրուն Բաղդասարյանը, «Հայաստան» հրատաչակչության տնօրեն Վահագն Սարգսյանը, որոնք արժևորել են մեծ գրողի ստեղծագործական ժառանգությունը, անցած գրական ուղին և նրա խոշոր ներդրումը հայ գրականության անդաստանում:
Միջոցառմանը ցուցադրվել է Մկրտիչ Սարգսյանի մասին պատմող տեսաֆիլմ, գեղեցիկ կատարումներով հանդես են եկել երգիչ Մասիս Հունանյանը, ասմունքող Գայանե Սամվելյանը, Սունդուկյանի անվան պետական ակադեմիական թատրոնի դերասանուհի Ռուզաննա Հախնազարյանը, Սայաթ-Նովա աշուղական երգի անսամբլի սաները։
Հիշեցնենք, որ այս տարի նշվում է արձակագիր, բանաստեղծ Մկրտիչ Սարգսյանի ծննդյան 100-ամյակը։ Միջոցառումներ են կայացել Երևանի պետական համալսարանում, Վանաձորում, Հրազդանում և այլ քաղաքներում։ Այս տարի հրատարակվել է նաև գրողի 100 բանաստեղծությունների ընտրանին, իսկ Երևանի ավագանու մայիսի 14-ի որոշմամբ Քանաքեռ-Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանի Քանաքեռի 14-րդ փողոցն անվանակոչվել է Մկրտիչ Սարգսյանի անունով։
