Генсек ОПЕК заявил, что спрос на нефть в 2024 году вырастет на 2,2 млн б/с

Спрос на нефть в 2024 году вырастет на 2,2 млн баррелей в сутки (б/с), а в дальнейшем будет стабильно расти, заявил генеральный секретарь ОПЕК Хайсам аль-Гайс в ходе выступления на Петербургском международном экономическом форуме (ПМЭФ).
«Что касается этого года, мы ожидаем, что спрос на нефть будет расти на 2,2 млн баррелей в сутки год к году. За первый квартал 2024 года мы увидели рост спроса на 2,3 млн баррелей в сутки. Как правило, первый квартал всегда худший квартал года, когда спрос самый низкий», - сказал он, добавив, что в дальнейшем ожидает стабильного и сильного спроса на нефть в мире.
При этом генсек ОПЕК отметил, что прогноз организации по спросу на нефть в 2023 году оказался наиболее точным, а «те, кто его критиковали, были вынуждены корректировать свои прогнозы практически каждый месяц, пока наконец их прогноз не сравнялся».
Петербургский международный экономический форум проходит с 5 по 8 июня. Тема форума в 2024 году: «Основа многополярного мира - формирование новых точек роста». Запланированы встречи МСП, креативного бизнеса, Молодежный день ПМЭФ, а также форумы «Лекарственная безопасность», «Академия ПМЭФ» и «ПМЭФ юниор».
