Օրեր առաջ Արարատ Միրզոյանը հայտարարեց, որ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանն իրար առջև բարձրաձայնել են դիրքորոշում, համաձայն որի՝ յուրաքանչյուրը մյուսի Սահմանադրության մեջ էական խնդիրներ ու խոչընդոտներ է տեսնում երկարատև խաղաղության հաստատման համար:

Այս մասին իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է «Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցության քարտուղար Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը․

«Սրանով Միրզոյանը մի կողմից հաստատեց քաղաքական դաշտում երկար ժամանակ շրջանառվող այն համոզմունքը, որ իշխանությունը ՀՀ Սահմանադրությունը ցանկանում է փոոխել Ադրբեջանի պահանջով, սակայն զուգահեռ դաշտ նետեց մի մոտեցում, որ ՀՀ-ն էլ նույնաբովանդակ պահանջներ ունի Ադրբեջանից:

Բաքվից արձագանքը չուշացավ և Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ-ն մեկնաբանելով հայտարարությունը նշեց, որ «ՀՀ Սահմանադրությունը, օրենսդրական ակտերը և խորհրդարանի կողմից ընդունված այլ փաստաթղթերը տարածքային պահանջներ են պարունակում հարևան պետությունների, այդ թվում՝ Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ։ Ադրբեջանի Սահմանադրությունը և այլ օրենսդրական ակտեր տարածքային պահանջներ չեն պարունակում հարևան պետությունների և Հայաստանի նկատմամբ, հետևաբար, այս հարցում զուգահեռներ անցկացնելու փորձերն անընդունելի են»:

Հիմա ինչ ունենք: Մի կողմից` ՀՀ իշխանության պարզաբանումը, որի նկատմամբ որևէ վստահություն մեր քաղաքացին չունի, մյուս կողմից` թշնամական երկրի արձագանք առ այն, որ ՀՀ պաշտոնյայի հայտարարությունը չի համապատասխանում իրականության (թշնամու խոսքն էլ «հալած յուղի պես» ընդունելի չէ):

Այն, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունը հաստատում է ադրբեջանական պահանջն ու իր մտադրությունը` փոխելու ՀՀ Սահմանադրությունը, արդեն փաստ է, իսկ թե արդյո՞ք Ադրբեջանը կգնա հայելային սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների, այս առումով փաստական որևէ գործընթաց նկատելի չէ»:
