«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Երեկ քպական պատգամավոր Արսեն Թորոսյանն ասել է, որ, տարբեր գնահատականներով, հատկապես ՄԱԿ-ի բնակչության հիմնադրամի կողմից կատարված ուսումնասիրությամբ, մենք 2050 թվականին կունենանք հազիվ 2,3 մլն մարդ: Սա ուշագրավ է հատկապես այն առումով, որ ժամանակին Արսեն Թորոսյանի շեֆը՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, հայտարարում էր, թե 2050 թվականին Հայաստանի բնակչությունը պետք է հասցնենք առնվազն 5 միլիոն մարդու: Հիշեցնենք, որ նման հայտարարություն Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն արել էր 2019 թվականին Ստեփանակերտի Վերածննդի հրապարակում: Թե ինչեր եղան այդ օրվա նրա հայտարարություններից հետո, ակնհայտ է:

Իսկ 5 մլն մարդու հետ կապված՝ դեռ այն ժամանակ շատերն էին նշում, որ գործ ունենք մաքսիմալ հեռու ժամկետի համար տրվող անպատասխանատու (նաև այն իմաստով, որ 2050 թվականին... «ով՝ սաղ, ով՝ մեռած») հերթական հայտարարության հետ: Իսկ հիմա նաև նրա խմբակցության անդամն է նշում, որ Փաշինյանը, դե, առնվազն կրկնակի մեծ թիվ է ասել: Ոչ պակաս ուշագրավ է, թե ինչպես է տեսնում հարցի լուծումը նույն Արսեն Թորոսյանը: «Իմ խորին համոզմամբ, կարող ենք մեր ժողովրդագրությունը բարելավել միայն ներգաղթով, ուրիշ տարբերակ չկա: Մեզ պետք են շատ մարդիկ, որ գան Հայաստանում ապրեն, ակնհայտ է նաև, որ այդ շատ մարդիկ հայերը չեն լինելու: Հայեր էլ կլինեն, իհարկե, ոչ այդքան բարվոք երկրներից»,-ասում է նա:

Ի դեպ, հիշեցնենք, որ ապրիլին բրիտանական The Times պարբերականը տեղեկություններ էր հրապարակել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ԱԳՆ-ի կողմից Հայաստանի, Կոտ դ’Իվուարի, Կոստա Ռիկայի և Բոտսվանայի ներկայացուցիչների հետ բանակցությունների վերաբերյալ՝ ապօրինի ներգաղթյալներին ընդունելու հարցերի շուրջ: Ըստ հրապարակման, Լոնդոնն ակնկալում է այս չորս երկրի հետ կնքել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Ռուանդայի միջև նախկինում ձեռք բերված համաձայնագրի համարժեքը: Նշվում է նաև, որ Հայաստանն ակնկալում է այս գործարքից ստանալ առնվազն 290 միլիոն ֆունտ ստեռլինգ:

Այն ժամանակ ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ն հերքումանման մի տեքստ տարածեց մասնավորաբար հետևյալ ձևակերպմամբ. «Հայաստանն ու Մեծ Բրիտանիան ունեն քաղաքական երկխոսության լայն օրակարգ, սակայն կոնկրետ հրապարակման մեջ բարձրացված հարցի վերաբերյալ առարկայական կամ տեխնիկական բանակցություններ չեն եղել»: Հիմա արդեն քպական պատգամավորն առաջարկում է Հայաստանը լցնել «ոչ հայերով»: Թե որքան են կապված այս հայտարարությունն ու The Times պարբերականի «սլիվը», ցույց կտա ժամանակը: Սակայն, ամեն դեպքում, պետք է արձանագրել, որ քպականները ոչինչ առանց «շեֆի» հետ համաձայնեցնելու չեն անում: Նույնիսկ հենց «շեֆի» թվերին «հակադրվելը»:
