2024 թվականի հունիսի 01-ին, ժամը 11։15-ին, Սևանա լճում հանգստյան գոտիներից մեկի անվտանգությունից ահազանգ է ստացվել բաժին այն մասին, որ իրենց մոտ հանգստացող Ա․ Մնացականյանի շորերը և իրերը հայտնաբերվել են լճի ափին, իսկ ինքը տարածքում չէ։ Այս մասին հայտնում են Քննչական կոմիտեից։
«Դեպքի առթիվ 2024թ․ հունիսի 1-ին, անհայտ կորելու հանգամանքով պայմանավորված՝ ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Գեղարքունիքի մարզային քննչական վարչության Սևանի քննչական բաժնում ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 155-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ։
Սկսվել է նախաքննություն, նաև իրականացվել են որոնողական աշխատանքներ։
2024 թվականի հունիսի 3-ին նույն հանգստյան գուտու լողափի տարածքից՝ Սևանա լճում, ափից 65-70 մետր հեռավորության վրա, 4 մետր խորությունից հայտնաբերվել է Երևան քաղաքի 25-ամյա բնակիչ Ա․ Մնացականյանի դին։
Դիակի զննությամբ արտաքուստ բռնության հետքեր չկան։
Իրականացվում է նախաքննություն։ Մահվան հանգամանքները պարզելու նպատակով նաև նշանակվել է դիակի դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություն»,-նշվում է հայտարարության մեջ։
