Այս տոնը ևս մեկ առիթ է ընդգծելու երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության կարևորությունը։ Որպես Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան՝ իմ առաջնահերթություններից է երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը:
Մեծ է պետության դերը՝ երեխաների իրավունքների ապահովման և պաշտպանության հարցում:
Երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության տեսանկյունից առաջնային է կրթական բարենպաստ միջավայրի ստեղծման, այդ թվում՝ բուլինգի և անհանդուրժողականության դեմ պայքարի ուղղությամբ համապարփակ և արդյունավետ միջոցների ձեռնարկումը։
Հարգելի գործընկերներ, ցանկանում եմ ընդգծել նաև երեխաների համար մեր օրինակելի վարքագծի դերակատարությունը։ Պետք է մշտապես հիշենք, որ երեխաները մեզ հաճախ չեն լսում, բայց հիանալիորեն ընդօրինակում են։
