Ցուցահանդես՝ նվիրված Արամ Աբրահամյանի 125 և Ռուսական արվեստի թանգարանի 40-ամյակներին

ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարության աջակցությամբ մայիսի 29-ին՝ ժամը 19:00-ին, Ռուսական արվեստի թանգարանում (պրոֆ. Ա. Աբրահամյանի հավաքածու) կբացվի «Արվեստի ասպետ. Արամ Աբրահամյան» խորագրով ցուցահանդեսը:
Այն նվիրված է թանգարանի հիմնադիր, բժիշկ, պրոֆեսոր, ԽՍՀՄ պետական մրցանակի դափնեկիր Արամ Աբրահամյանի 125-ամյակին և Ռուսական արվեստի թանգարանի հիմնադրման 40-ամյակին։
Ցուցադրությունում լուսանկարների, փաստաթղթերի և անձնական իրերի միջոցով ներկայացվում են պրոֆեսորի կյանքն ու գործունեությունը, ինչպես նաև Ռուսական արվեստի թանգարանի ստեղծման պատմությունը։
Ցուցահանդեսի բացումն իրականացվում է Մայիսյան հերոսամարտերի շրջանակում, քանի որ Արամ Աբրահամյանը Սարիղամիշի, Ղարաքիլիսայի, Ալեքսանդրապոլի, Կարսի մարտերի ժամանակ եղել է Հայաստանում գործող առանձին կորպուսի լեռնահեծելազորային մարտկոցի շարքերում, ինչպես նաև մասնակցել է Սարդարապատի հերոսական ճակատամարտին։
Ողբերգական իրադարձությունները, որոնք ցնցել են հայրենասեր երիտասարդին, դրդել են նրան ընտրելու ամենահումանիստական մասնագիտություններից մեկը՝ բժշկի մասնագիտությունը: Արամ Աբրահամյանի մոտ բուժվել է Եղիշե Չարենցը, նրա տանը հաճախ է հյուրընկալվել Ավետիք Իսահակյանը:
Արամ Աբրահամյանը նաև արվեստի մեծ սիրահար էր: Նա հավաքել է արծաթե դարաշրջանի՝ 19-րդ դարավերջի և 20-րդ դարասկզբի ինչպես ռուսական, այնպես էլ հայկական կերպարվեստի նմուշներ։
Որպես իր հայրենիքի արժանի զավակ՝ մեծանուն բժիշկը որոշում է իր հավաքածուն նվիրել Հայաստանին և 1977 թ. նամակով դիմում է ՀԽՍՀ կառավարությանը՝ հայտնելով իր որոշման մասին, և ՀԽՍՀ մինիստրների խորհուրդը որոշում է կայացնում տարածք տրամադրել թանգարան հիմնադրելու համար:
1980-1983 թթ․ Արամ և Մարիա Աբրահամյանները Երևան են տեղափոխում Հայաստանին նվիրաբերած իրենց արվեստի հավաքածուն։ 1984 թ․ Երևանում պաշտոնապես այցելուների առջև իր դռներն է բացում «Պրոֆ․ Ա․ Հ․ Աբրահամյանի հավաքածու» թանգարանը։
Թանգարանի ստեղծումը բացառիկ երևույթ էր սերունդների համար՝ տեսնելու, շփվելու, հնարավորինս մոտ լինելու արծաթե դարաշրջանի արվեստի գլուխգործոցներին։
