Հայաստանի անկախության 33 տարիների ընթացքում գործող իշխանությունները դեռ երբեք իրենց նման գարշելի կերպով չէին պահել, ինչպես պահեցին երեկ` Սարդարապատում։

Ողջ գիշեր Սարդարապատում անցկացնելուց հետո ընդդիմության առաջնորդ Բագրատ արքեպիսկոպոս սրբազանը հայտարարեց, որ վերադառնում են Երևան։ Միայն դրանից հետո Փաշինյանը համարձակվեց ներկայանալ Սարդարապատ, ընդ որում, ողջ գիշեր տեղում Հանրային հեռուստաընկերության տեխնիկա էր եղել, որը պատրաստել էին հատուկ Փաշինյանի համար առավոտյան ժամանելուն։

Երկրի «բարձրագույն» ղեկավարության այցից առաջ Սարդարապատ էր այցելել Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Բ-ն՝ ուղեկցող արքեպիսկոպոսների և հոգևորականների շքախմբով։ Ոստիկանության սև և կարմիր բերետավորները փակել էին ճանապարհը՝ արգելելով Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի մուտքը հուշահամալիրի տարածք, այն էլ՝ Հանրապետության օրը։

Ի վերջո, հոգևորականները ճեղքել էին ոստիկանների շղթան, բարձրացել հուշահամալիր, աղոթք հղել՝ ի հիշատակ իրենց կյանքը հայրենիքի անկախության համար զոհած հայորդիների։ Հոգևորականները, սակայն, հեռացել էին, քանի որ վարչապետի աշխատակազմից նրանց հստակ ակնարկել էին, որ իրենց չեն հրավիրել հանդիսավոր արարողությանը, և նրանց տեղում գտնվելը նպատակահարմար չեն համարում։

Տասնամյակներ շարունակ Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին, որ Սահմանադրությամբ առանձնաշնորհյալ կարգավիճակ ունի, պետության ղեկավարների հետ կողք կողքի նշել է բոլոր տոները, ընդգծվել է եկեղեցու դերը, այսօր փաշինյանական վարչախումբն ամեն ինչ անում է եկեղեցին նսեմացնելու, նվաստացնելու, հանրության մեջ նրա արժեքը գցելու համար, և մյուս կողմից էլ զարմանում են, որ այսօր իշխանությունների դեմ արդարացված պայքարը առաջնորդում է հենց Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու հոգևորականը։

«Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, գեներալ-մայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանը դեռ շատ վաղ է նշել, որ փաշինյանական վարչախմբի թիրախում է գտնվում Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին։ Ավելին, իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում գործող իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչներին առաջարկել էր հրապարակավ հայտարարել իրենց հավատքի մասին՝ հասկանալու համար՝ նրանք քրիստոնյա են, թե՝ ոչ։

Արշակ Կարապետյանի կարծիքով՝ այն, ինչ իրականացնում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը, դեմ է հայ ժողովրդի շահերին, հայկական ինքնությանը։

«Փաշինյանը ցանկանում է ստեղծել մի նոր ժողովուրդ, վաղն էլ կասեն՝ դուք չպիտի ձեզ ասեք հայ, ազգն է փոխում, ընտանեկան հարաբերությունները, հավատը։ Մեր ժողովուրդը Եղեռնից հետո կարողացավ ոտքի կանգնել, զենքով պաշտպանել իր տարածքները, որովհետև այն ժամանակ ղեկավարությունն էր կազմակերպում, իսկ այսօր երկրի ղեկավարությունն ամեն ինչ անում է հայ ժողովրդի շահերի դեմ»,- փաստել էր Արշակ Կարապետյանը։

Ըստ էության, ոչ միայն Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու, այլ նաև Հայաստանի, հայ ժողովրդի մյուս սրբությունների դեմ գործող վարչախմբի քաղաքականությունը թելադրված է դրսի իր հովանավորների կողմից, որոնք ամեն գնով ցանկանում են ժողովրդի մեջ ամենաայլասերված բարքերը սերմանել։
