Վերջին տվյալներով Տավուշի և Լոռու մարզերում ջրհեղեղների հետևանքով կա 4 զոհ, 18 քանդված կամուրջ և 7 բնակավայրեր էլ գտնվում են արտաքին աշխարհից կտրված վիճակում։ Թեպետ փրկարար ծառայությունը և նրանց օգնության հասած կամավորականներն անձնազոհության իսկական հրաշքներ են ցուցաբերում, իրավիճակը չափազանց ծանր է, քանի որ պետությունը բավարար հմտություններ չունի և չի կարողանում լուծել տուժած շրջանների առջև ծառացած մարդասիրական խնդիրները։
Բնավ ոչ զարմանալի զուգադիպությամբ՝ հեղեղումներ են եղել նաև Վրաստանում, մասնավորապես Դեբեդի վարարման գիշերը խնդիրներ են առաջացել նաև Քվեմոքարտիի մարզում, հատկապես տուժել է Մարնեուլի քաղաքը, որտեղ ևս կան քանդված կամուրջներ և ճանապարհներ, այնտեղ, սակայն, հումանիտար իրավիճակն ամենևին էլ համադրելի չէ Հայաստանի հետ, և պատճառն ընդամենը մեկն է՝ վրացական իշխանությունները բավական կոմպետենտ են եղել, արդեն մայիսի 25-ի լույս 26-ի գիշերը տարհանել են բնակիչներին վտանգավոր գոտիներից, արտակարգ իրավիճակների վրացական ծառայությունները հրաշալի ուսուցում են անցել և կարողացել են կանխել վտանգավոր զարգացումները, փլուզումները և մարդկանց կյանքն ու առողջությունը վտանգելու հավանականությունը։
Ընդամենն այս մեկ դրվագը վկայում է, որ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները բավարար կոմպետենտ չեն նույնիսկ տարերային աղետների դեմ պայքարելու հարցում, ո՞ւր մնաց, որ կարողանան կանխել ներքին և արտաքին մարտահրավերները։ Ի վերջո արտակարգ իրավիճակներին պատրաստ լինելու հանգամանքը հենց պետության գոյության մասին է խոսում, այդ իմաստով, ցավոք, Հայաստանը լրջորեն զիջում է նույնիսկ իր հարևաններին։
