Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանի բանկերի միության նախագահ Դանիել Ազատյանին:
Նախագահի աշխատակազմից NEWS.am-ին հայտնում են, որ ողջունելով հյուրին Հանրապետության նախագահը նշել է, որ բանկային համակարգը Հայաստանի ամենակայացած և անկախ կառույցն է, որն իր ստեղծման օրվանից մինչև օրս կարևոր դերակատարություն է իրականացնում երկրի տնտեսության կայունության և զարգացման գործում:
Իր խոսքում նախագահն առանձնահատուկ ընդգծել է բանկային համակարգում առողջ մրցակցության առկայության էական նշանակությունը, ինչը երաշխավորում է համակարգի շարունակական կատարելագործումն ու ճկունությունը:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով հանդիպման հնարավորության համար, Դանիել Ազատյանը նշել է, որ Միության ստեղծման առաջնային նպատակներից է ինչպես Հայաստանում բանկերի շահերի անաչառ պաշտպանությունը, այնպես էլ Հանրապետության նախագահի կողմից մատնանշված բանկային համակարգում մրցակցային միջավայրի ապահովությունը:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում Դանիել Ազատյանը Հանրապետության նախագահին է ներկայացրել Բանկերի միության գործունեության հիմնական ուղղությունների վերաբերյալ մանրամասներ, ինչպես նաև անդրադարձել է հայաստանյան բանկային համակարգում ընթացող զարգացումներին, առկա խնդիրներին և վերջիններիս հաղթահարման հնարավորություններին:
Զրույցի ընթացքում նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն իր պատրաստակամությունն է հայտնել նախագահի լիազորությունների շրջանակում հնարավորինս աջակցել երկրում բանկային ոլորտի բարեփոխմանն ու զարգացմանն ուղղված նախաձեռնություններին:
