Վարչախումբն անցել է արդեն բացահայտ և անթաքույց սպառնալիքներ տալուն և առաջին անգամ դա արել է Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր, օլիգարխ Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանի բերանով։

Նախօրեին Ազգային ժողովի նիստում Սուքիասյանը հայտարարել է, թե իրենց մոտ տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ ընդդիմադիր գործընկերներն ու Հայաստանի շատ քաղաքացիներ ծառայում են այլ պետությունների։ «Եթե մենք գնանք տարիներ հետ և տեսնենք, թե Հայաստանն ովքեր են կառավարել, ինչ ձևով են կառավարել և տեսնենք, թե նրանք ինչ ձևով են վերաբերվում այն մարդկանց, ովքեր մի օտար երկրի անուն էին տալիս, կամ մի օտար երկրի հետ հարաբերություններ են ունենում, կամ այդ մարդիկ բանտում էին հայտնվում, կամ մահանում էին, կամ ունեզրկվում էին։ Հիմա ես ձեզ ասում եմ, եթե դուք ձեր չափը չճանաչեք և եթե դուք խանգարեք Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զարգացմանը, ձեզ հետ նույն գործիքներով կխոսենք»,- հայտարարել է իշխանական տխրահռչակ պատգամավորը։

Ընդդիմությունը խորհրդարանական ճեպազրույցների ժամանակ դատապարտել են Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանի հայտարարությունները, նշել, որ քրեաիրավական և քաղաքական գնահատական են տալու, նաև պահանջել են Նիկոլ Փաշինյանից և նրա կողմնակիցներից իրենք ևս գնահատական տալ Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանի հայտարարություններին, այլապես կստացվի, որ հենց նրանք էլ պատասխանատու են ու հանձնարարել են իրենց խմբակցության ամենավարկաբեկված անդամներից մեկին նման հայտարարություններ անել։

Իշխանությունն առայժմ փորձում է սրբագրել Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանի խոսքերը, հայտարարել, թե նրան ճիշտ չեն հասկացել, իրականում այս մտայնությունը տիրում է ողջ վարչախմբի մոտ, հանուն սեփական իշխանության պահպանման, նրանք պատրաստ են ամենաապօրինի քայլերին, բռնություններին, դեմ չեն նույնիսկ արյուն հեղել սեփական իշխանությունը պահպանելու համար։
