Ձերբակալվել է ՌԴ Զինված ուժերի Գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալ, Կապի գլխավոր վարչության պետ, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Վադիմ Շամարինը։ Այս մասին գրում է «Կոմերսանտ»-ը:
Իրավապահ մարմինների աղբյուրը հաստատել է, որ գեներալի տունը խուզարկվել է ենթադրյալ խարդախության մասին քրեական գործի առնչությամբ։ Արդյունքների հիման վրա Վադիմ Շամարինը հարցաքննության է տեղափոխվել ՌԴ Քննչական կոմիտեի գլխավոր զինվորական քննչական վարչություն։
Նշենք, որ ՌԴ ՊՆ-ում շարունակվում է պաշտոնյաների ձերբակալման ալիքը: Ավելի վաղ ձերբակալվել էին պաշտպանության փոխնախարար Թիմուր Իվանովը և պաշտպանության նախարարության կադրային գլխավոր վարչության պետ, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Յուրի Կուզնեցովը։ Նրանք երկուսն էլ մեղադրվում են առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով կաշառք ստանալու համար:
Յուրի Կուզնեցովը մեղադրվում է 30,5 միլիոն ռուբլու կաշառք ստանալու համար։ Տիմուր Իվանովը մեղադրվում է 1,185 միլիարդ ռուբլի ստանալու համար։
Մայիսի 17-ին խարդախության գործով ձերբակալվել էր Հարավային ռազմական օկրուգի 58-րդ բանակի նախկին հրամանատար Իվան Պոպովը:
