«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Վերջին առնվազն մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում հորդառատ անձրևների հետևանքով մայրաքաղաքի փողոցներում որոշ օրերի իսկական գետեր էին հոսում, ավելին՝ առանձին դեպքերում մեքենաներն ուղղակի մնացել էին հսկայական անձրևալճերում: Շատերը կես կատակ-կես լուրջ արձանագրում էին, որ այսուհետ Երևանի ամենատարածված փոխադրամիջոցը նավակն է լինելու:
«Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, որոշ ժամանակ առաջ Երևանի քաղաքապետը հանձնարարել է վարչական շրջանների ղեկավարներին իրենց տարածքներում գույքագրում իրականացնել՝ կապված ջրահեռացման համակարգերի հետ: Թվում է՝ արտառոց բան չկա, քաղաքապետարանն զբաղվում է իր գործով, ավելին՝ նման հանձնարարականը երևի թե նաև ուշացած է: Սակայն այստեղ արտառոցն այն է, որ ջրահեռացման համակարգի պատասխանատուն «Վեոլիա ջուր» ընկերությունն է, ու փաստացի ստացվում է, որ վարչական շրջանների ղեկավարները մտնելու են «ուրիշի դաշտ»:
Շատ ավելի տարօրինակ է, որ այս ամբողջ ընթացքում նույն «Վեոլիա ջուր» ընկերությունից որևէ պարզաբանում, որևէ «արդարացում» չհնչեց, կարծես այդպես էլ պետք է լիներ: Այնինչ, նման վիճակը Երևանի համար արդեն վաղուց նորություն չէ, ավելին, «Վեոլիա ջուր» ընկերության պատճառով տարիներ շարունակ դարձել է «ավանդույթ»:
