«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այս օրերին, «Տավուշը՝ հանուն Հայրենիքի» շարժման ծավալմանը զուգահեռ, հաճախ կարելի է այսուայնկողմից լսել հիմնականում միտումնավոր-հակաքարոզչական, երբեմն՝ միամիտ հարցադրումներ, թե ինչի համար է պայքարը, ինչ առաջարկություններ են անում պայքարողները և այսպես շարունակ: Սա՝ այն դեպքում, երբ թե՛ շարժումը գլխավորող Բագրատ արքեպիսկոպոս Գալստանյանը, թե՛ շարժման «առաջին շարքի» այլ ներկայացուցիչներ հենց այդ «ինչի համար»-ի մասին են անընդհատ խոսում: Բերենք ընդամենը 1 օրինակ:

«Դիվանագետների համահայկական խորհուրդը», որի կազմում փորձառու դիվանագետներ են, ՀՀ դիվանագիտական կորպուսի, կարելի է ասել, կորիզը, նախօրեին հայտարարությամբ անդրադարձավ «սահմանազատման» թեմային: Դիվանագետների գնահատականը հստակ է. «Սահմանազատման եւ սահմանագծման, այսպես կոչված, գործընթացը ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան ադրբեջանական վերջնագրի անվերապահ կատարում: ...Արդեն կասկածից վեր է, որ այս հակաիրավական գործընթացը լրջագույն հարված է Հայաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությանն ու ինքնիշխանությանը»: Ինչ վերաբերում է Ալմա Աթայի հռչակագրին, ապա նշվում է. «Եվս մեկ անգամ հարկ ենք համարում նշել, որ վերջինս չի կարող հիմք լինել սահմանազատման և սահմանագծման համար, քանի որ չի պարունակում որևէ քարտեզային նկարագիր:

Փոխարենը, օրվա իշխանությունները համառորեն շարունակում են անտեսել միակ իրավական հիմք ունեցող երկու գործընթաց. առաջինը՝ 1928-1929 թթ. Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի խորհրդային հանրապետությունների Գերագույն խորհուրդների որոշումներով վավերացված քարտեզն է, երկրորդը՝ 1983-1988 թթ. ԽՍՀՄ Մինիստրների խորհրդի երեք որոշումների հիման վրա երկու խորհրդային հանրապետությունների միջև ձևավորված հանձնաժողովների կատարած աշխատանքների և վերջնական ճշգրտումների ավարտին ստորագրված 182 արձանագրությունները՝ մանրամասն նկարագրերով: ...Արձանագրությունների հիման վրա ԽՍՀՄ Մինիստրների խորհրդի հսկողությամբ 1988 թ. հրատարակվել է պաշտոնական քարտեզ, ինչը բաց ու հասանելի էր բոլորին»:

Ավելին, խորհուրդը, որ մինչ այդ էլ հանգամանալի զեկույց էր պատրաստել՝ հիմնավորելով, թե ինչու է Փաշինյանի իշխանության արածը հակաիրավական և իրականում ինչ քայլեր պետք է արվեին, նաև ընդգծել է, որ օրվա իշխանության կողմից իրականացվող «ապօրինի գործընթացի» հետևանքով Հայաստանն ունենում է 230 հեկտարի չափով տարածքային կորուստ, իսկ եթե դրան գումարվում են ներկայում Ադրբեջանի փաստացի վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող Բերքաբերի ջրամբարն ու հարակից տարածքներն, ապա միայն այս հատվածում մեր երկիրը կորցնում է շուրջ 1100 հեկտար տարածք:

Ինչի՞ համար է ծավալվող պայքարը: Պայքարն այն բանի համար է, որ բացառվեն նման «գիշերային կապիտուլյացիաներն» ու հակաիրավական գործընթացները, կանգնեցվեն կորուստներն ու պետականության գահավիժումը: Այն Հայաստանի լինելու համար է:
