ЕБРР предоставил Армении кредит в размере 236 млн. евро на строительство дороги коридора «Север – Юг»

Армения и Европейский банк реконструкции и развития (ЕБРР) 15 мая подписали кредитное соглашение о выделении 236 млн. евро на строительство дороги Каджаран – Сисиан коридора «Север – Юг».
Общая стоимость проекта составляет около 373 млн. евро. Новая дорога будет разделена на северный, южный и центральный участки.
Кредитные средства будут потрачены на строительство южного участка. Дорога сократит расстояние от Каджарана до Сисиана с 118 до 60 километров, а средняя скорость проезда по ней возрастет с 50 до 100 километров в час. Строительство планируется завершить до 2030 года.
Церемония подписания предусмотрена в рамках ежегодного собрания Европейского банка реконструкции и развития в Ереване, которое стартовало 14 мая и пройдет до 16 мая.
За последние пять лет ЕБРР инвестировал в Армению 640 миллионов евро, поддерживая развитие частного сектора, улучшение инфраструктуры, производство возобновляемой энергии и цифровизацию сельских районов.
На сегодняшний день ЕБРР инвестировал более 2,1 миллиарда евро в 210 проектов по всей Армении.
