ԱՄՀ-ն սկսել Է կարգադրիչ-տնօրենի պաշտոնի թեկնածուների ընտրության գործընթացը

 Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամի (ԱՄՀ) գործադիր խորհուրդը հունվարի 20-ին հայտարարել Է Հիմնադրամի կարգադրիչ-տնօրենի պաշտոնի համար թեկնածուների ընտրության գործընթացի սկսվելու մասին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Հայտարարությունը խորհրդի անունից արել Է այդ մարմնի հնագույն անդամը՝ ռուսաստանցի Ալեքսեյ Մոժինը: Նա նշել Է, որ, ինչպես եւ 2011 թվականին, խորհուրդը պլանավորում Է նոր ղեկավարի թեկնածության վերաբերյալ որոշումն ընդունել փոխհամաձայնությամբ եւ մտադիր Է թեկնածուների ընտրության գործընթացն ավարտել արդեն մինչեւ մարտի սկիզբը:  

Ներկայիս կարգադրիչ տնօրենի՝ Քրիստին Լագարդի, լիազորությունները լրանում են 2016 թվականի հուլիսի 5-ին: 

Շատ հավանական Է, որ նրա մանդատը երկարացվի հաջորդ հինգ տարվա համար, քանի որ Լագարդը վայելում Է Հիմնադրամի բաժնետերերի, այդ թվում՝ դրանցից խոշորագույնի՝ ԱՄՆ-ի, լայն աջակցությունը. Հիմնադրամի բարեփոխման գծով նրա գործունեությանը դրական Է գնահատվում անդամ երկրների եւ հասարակայնության կողմից:

Թեկնածուների ընտրությունն սկսելու վերաբերյալ ԱՄՀ-ի հայտարարությունից անմիջապես հետո Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ֆինանսների նախարար Ջորջ Օսբոռնը պաշտոնապես Լագարդին առաջադրել Է նոր ժամկետի համար: Լագարդն ինքն ավելի վաղ նույնպես հասկանալ Է տվել, որ կցանկանար ԱՄՀ-ում աշխատել եւս հինգ տարի, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
