Բրազիլիայում հորդառատ անձրևների հետևանքով 143 մարդ է զոհվել

Բրազիլիայի Ռիո Գրանդե դու Սուլ նահանգում հորդառատ անձրևներ են տեղացել։ Տարերքի հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը հասել է 143-ի, հայտնում է Reuters-ը՝ վկայակոչելով տեղի քաղաքացիական պաշտպանության վարչությունը։
Նշվում է, որ ևս 131 մարդ անհետ կորած է մնում։
Շաբաթ երեկոյան կառավարությունը հայտարարել է 12,1 միլիարդ ռեալ (2,34 միլիարդ դոլար) արտակարգ ծախսերի համար հատկացնելու մասին՝ ճգնաժամի դեմ պայքարելու նպատակով, որը նահանգի 10,9 միլիոն բնակչությունից ավելի քան 538,000 մարդու ստիպել է լքել իրենց տները:
Այս նոր գումարի հետ մեկտեղ նահանգին արդեն հատկացվել է ավելի քան 60 միլիարդ ռեալ դաշնային միջոցներ, ասվում է դաշնային կառավարության հայտարարության մեջ:
Բրազիլիայի նախագահ Լուիս Ինասիո Լուլա դա Սիլվան հայտարարել է, որ պետությունը կվերականգնի ավերված ամեն ինչ։
ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը շաբաթ օրը հայտարարություն է տարածել, որում ասվում է, որ իր վարչակազմը կապի մեջ է Բրազիլիայի կառավարության հետ՝ օգնություն տրամադրելու համար:
«Մեր մտքերն ու աղոթքներն այն մարդկանց հետ են, որոնք տուժել են այս ողբերգությունից, ինչպես նաև նրանց հետ, ովքեր աշխատում են ընտանիքներին և մարդկանց փրկելու և բուժօգնություն ցուցաբերելու ուղղությամբ»,- ասել է Բայդենը:
