Սիեռա Լեոնեի իշխանությունները տեղեկացրել են Էբոլա մահացու վտանգավոր տենդով վարակման երկրորդ դեպքի մասին, որի համաճարակը երկրում դադարել Էր նոյեմբերի սկզբին, հաղորդում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով Reuters գործակալությանը:

Սիեռա Լեոնեի առողջապահության նախարարության ներկայացուցիչ Սիդի Յահյահ Թունիսը հայտարարել Է, որ հիվանդությունն ախտորոշվել Է 38-ամյա կնոջ մոտ, որն օգնում Էր խնամել վերջերս տենդից մահացած ազգականուհուն: 

Սիեռա Լեոնեի կառավարությունը մահացու վտանգավոր հիվանդության համաճարակի հաղթահարման մասին հայտնել Էր նոյեմբերի 7-ին: Դրանից հետո երկրում իրադրության բժշկական մոնիթորինգի 90-օրյա ժամանակաշրջան Էր հայտարարվել:

Հունվարի 15-ին Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը (ԱՀԿ) հաստատել Է Սիեռա Լեոնեում Էբոլա վիրուսով վարակման առաջին դեպքը Արեւմտյան Աֆրիկայում համաճարակի լիակատար ավարտի մասին հայտարարությունից հետո: Հիվանդության զոհ Է դարձել 22-ամյա մի բնակչուհի, որը հիվանդացել Էր տարվա սկզբին եւ մահացել հունվարի 12-ին: Վտանգավոր տենդը նրա մոտ ախտոշորվել Էր մահվանից հետո: Իշխանությունները կարանտին են սահմանել 109 մարդու համար, որոնք կարող Էին շփվել տենդից մահացած աղջկա հետ: 

Էբոլա տենդի բռնկումը գրանցվել Է 2014 թվականի փետրվարին Գվինեայում, այնուհետեւ վիրուսը տարածվել Է հարեւան Սիեռա Լեոնեում եւ Լիբերիայում: Ընդամենը համաճարակի սկսվելուց ի վեր այս երեք երկրներում հիվանդությունից մահացել Է ավելի քան 11 հազար մարդ, եւս ավելի քան 28 հազար բնակիչներ վարակվել են վտանգավոր վիրուսով, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
