Fondsk.ru-ն «Ներքաղաքական ճգնաժամ Հայաստանում. լարվածությունն աճում է» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ մայիսի 9-ի երեկոյան Երևանի Հանրապետության հրապարակում տեղի է ունեցել բազմահազարանոց հանրահավաք։ Բողոքի ակցիայի առաջնորդ, Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու Տավուշի թեմի առաջնորդ Բագրատ արքեպիսկոպոս Գալստանյանը, որը մայրաքաղաք էր հասել բազմահազարանոց երթն առաջնորդելով, նախ՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին մեկ ժամ էր տվել հրաժարական տալու համար, իսկ այն բանից հետո, երբ դա կանխատեսելիորեն չէր կատարվել (այդպես է անում իսկական ժողովրդավարը, որը իշխանության է եկել 6 տարի առաջ փողոցային բողոքի ալիքի վրա և իշխանությանը հանձնելուն չդիմադրելու պայմանով), հոգևորականը հայտարարել է ԱԺ-ում վարչապետի իմպիչմենտի նախաձեռնման մասին:

Դրա համար ակնհայտորեն միայն ընդդիմադիր խմբակցությունների ձայները բավարար չեն, ուստի ընդդիմության խնդիրը հեշտ չէ։ Բնականաբար, «կաբինետային» պայմանավորվածությունների ձեռքբերումն արագացնելու նպատակով պետք է դրան աջակցել խաղաղ անհնազանդության գործողություններով, որը և հայտարարվել է։ Ինչպես պարզաբանել է Ռազմավարական մշակույթի հիմնադրամի փորձագետ Անդրեյ Արեշևը, շատ բան «կախված կլինի ցուցարարների վճռականությունից և նրանից, թե որքանո՞վ են նրանք կազմակերպված, որքանո՞վ են պատրաստ հետևել ուրվագծված նպատակներին»։ «Իհարկե, իրավիճակը բավականին լուրջ է, պարզ է, որ այն վաղուց էր հասունացել, սակայն հնարավոր հեռանկարների մասին դեռ հստակ կանխատեսումներ անել անհնար է: Չի կարելի թերագնահատել ուժային ռեսուրսը և արտաքին աջակցությունը, որը տրամադրվում է Փաշինյանին, նրա ստի և սադրանքների մեքենան, որը նա միշտ օգտագործել է:

Օրինակ՝ իշխանամետ քարոզիչները և հարակից լրատվական ռեսուրսները փորձում են ամեն ինչ անել նախկին իշխանություններին (մասնավորապես, երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին), ինչպես նաև առասպելական «Կրեմլի գործակալներին» բողոքի ցույցերին կպցնելու համար, բայց դա, մեղմ ասած, չի ստացվում: Բավական է ծանոթանալ համահայկական համբավ ձեռք բերած այդ քահանայի կենսագրությանը, որպեսզի պարզ լինի նման ենթադրությունների անհեթեթությունը։ Այստեղ կարևոր է այն, թե արդյո՞ք այս ձևավորվող բողոքի շարժումը կկարողանա որևէ կառուցողական այլընտրանք առաջարկել Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի բոլոր պահանջների բավարարման այն կուրսին, որը հիմա պաշտպանում և հետևողականորեն իրականացնում են Փաշինյանը և նրա կառավարությունը»,- ասել է նա։
