Այսպիսի դեպքերում օգտակար է իմանալ որոշ բաներ կապտուկների մասին:
Բոլորն են ունենում կապտուկներ: Ինչո՞ւ:
Երբ դուք հարվածում եք, քերծում եք ձեր մարմնի ինչ-որ մասը, կամ ընկնում եք՝ ձեր մազանոթները պայթում են, և արյունը հավաքվում է մաշկի բարակ հյուսվածքի տակ: Հավաքված արյունը կարող է ստանալ սև կամ կապույտ գույն, իսկ հետո փոխում է գույնը հենց որ սկսում է լավանալ, իսկ արյունը ներծծվում է:
Դա ավելին է, քան ուղղակի կապտուկը 
Կապտուկների դեպքում սովորաբար լինում է այտուցվածություն և ցավ: Մաշկի տակ հավաքված արյունից այտուցվածություն է առաջանում:
Բայց ոչ բոլոր կապտուկներն են միանման. Ոմանք շատ լուրջ են: Այնպես որ ուշադիր նայեք ձեր կապտուկին, և կողմնորոշվեք, թե ինչպես է պետք այն բուժել, և անհրաժեշտության դեպքում դիմեք բժշկին:

Վնասվածք ստանալուց անմիջապես հետո, այդ հատվածն ազնվամորու գույն է ստանում: Այդ գույնը ստանում է արյան մեջ երկաթի և թթվածնի բարձր պարունակության պատճառով:

Եթե կարմիր կապտուկը ձեր վնասվածքի գագաթնակետն է, ապա այն շուտ կանցնի: Քիչ մազանոթներ են վնասվել, այդ պատճառով էլ այն շուտ կվերականգնվի:
Կապույտ կապտուկ
Այսպիսի կապտուկներ առաջանում են այն մարդկանց մոտ, ում մարմինը հակումներ ունի կապտուկներ առաջացնելու: Բայց ինչո՞ւ կապույտ: Չէ՞ որ դա էլ է արյուն:
Այո, ուղղակի արյունը շատ է:
Հավաքված արյան մեջի թթվածինը սկսում է պակասել, ինչի հետևանքով էլ կապտուկը սկսում է մուգ գույն ստանալ. Դառնում է մանուշակագույն և նույնիսկ սև: Որքան ուժեղ է վնասվածքը, այնքան մուգ է գույնը:

Ահավոր տեսք ունի, բայց այն իր բացատրությունն ունի:
Վնասվածքը լավանում է
Կապտուկների լավանալու ընթացքում հեմոգլոբին է արտադրվում, որն էլ այս գույնն է հաղորդում մաշկին:
