Վրաց-ամերիկյան զորավարժություններում կներգրավվեն Abrams տանկեր

Noble Partner-2016 («Արժանի գործընկեր») վրաց-ամերիկյան համատեղ ընդգրկուն զորավարժությունների ընթացքում, որոնք մայիսին անցկացվելու են Թբիլիսիի մերձակայքում, գործի կդրվեն Abrams տանկեր: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հաղորդել Է «Ռուսթավի-2» հեռուստաընկերությունը՝ հղում անելով հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարար Թինա Խիդաշելիին:

Անցյալ տարվա մայիսին վրացի 400 զինծառայողների եւ ավելի քան 200 ամերիկացի զինվորականների մասնակցությամբ վրաց-ամերիկյան լայնածավալ վարժանքներ են անցկացրել Թբիլիսիի մերձակա «Վազիանի» ռազմակայանում:

Հատուկ անցյալ տարվա զորավարժությունների համար Վրաստան Էր հասցվել ամերիկյան ծանր ռազմական տեխնիկա՝ հետեւակի «Բրեդլի» 14 մարտական մեքենա, լոգիստիկայի ապահովման մեքենաներ, ինչպես նաեւ զորավարժությունների համար նախատեսված հանդերձանք: 2016 թվականին պլանավորված վարժանքների համար ԱՄՆ-ից կուղարկվեն մեքենայացված եւ հետեւակային ստորաբաժանումների զինծառայողներ:

Վրացի զինվորականներն ամերիկյան տանկերն ստանալուց առաջ վարժանքներ են անցկացնում ԱՄՆ-ի այլ ռազմական տեխնիկայով: Հեռուստաընկերության տվյալներով՝ վրացական կողմն արդեն ԱՄՆ-ից ստացել Է 70 տոննա ռազմական բեռներ եւ, տանկերից բացի, սպասում Է լրացուցիչ այլ բեռներ:

Սակայն, ինչպես նշում Է Խիդաշելին, խոսքը չի վերաբերում զենքին: Նախարարը հայտարարել Է, որ Abrams տանկերը Վրաստանում կհայտնվեն ոչ թե ուժի ցուցադրման համար, այլ ապացուցելու, որ երկիրը մենակ չԷ:
