Израильские военные вновь открыли основной контрольно-пропускной пункт Керем-Шалом для доставки гуманитарной помощи в сектор Газа. Oб этом сообщает The Times of Israel.
Израиль закрыл КПП 5 мая после того, как в результате ракетного обстрела группировки ХАМАС там погибли четыре израильских солдата и десять получили ранения.
По данным израильских СМИ, грузовики с гуманитарной помощью, поступающей из Египта, уже начали проходить досмотр перед въездом в сектор Газа.
7 мая Армия обороны Израиля (ЦАХАЛ) установила контроль над КПП Рафах. На что, ООН заявила, что «две главные артерии» для доставки гуманитарной помощи, КПП Рафах и Керем Шалом, оказались закрыты, и доставка гуманитарной помощи палестинцами на юге сектора Газа стала невозможна.
Ранее ЦАХАЛ сообщал, что израильские военные начали целенаправленную антитеррористическую операцию в восточном районе города Рафах, который расположен на юге сектора Газа. Они рекомендовали палестинцам эвакуироваться.
Рафах - последнее крупное поселение в секторе Газа, на территории которого израильская армия до сих пор не вела боевых действий. По данным израильской стороны, в Рафахе расположены крупные подразделения боевого крыла ХАМАС.
