Նիդերլանդների վարչապետ Մարկ Ռյուտեն այցել է Թուրքիա: Ստամբուլում Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Էրդողանի հետ հանդիպումից հետո կողմերը հանդես են եկել մամուլի ասուլիսով:
Էրդողանը նշել է, որ բանակցությունների ընթացքում անդրադարձ է եղել երկկողմ հարաբերությունների տարբեր ոլորտների, վերահաստատվել դրանք ավելի բարձր մակարդակի հասցնելու վճռականությունը։ Թուրքիայի նախագահը կարևորել է Եվրամիության հետ Մաքսային միության թարմացման աշխատանքը և հույս հայտնել այդ հարցում ստանալ Նիդերլանդների աջակցությունը:
Անդրադարձ է եղել նաև Գազայում և Ուկրաինայում տիրող իրավիճակին: Կարևորվել է կրակի դադարեցումը և Գազայի հատված մարդասիրական աջակցության տեղափոխումը:
Քննարկվել է նաև համագործակցությունը ՆԱՏՕ-ի շրջանակում: Անդրադառնալով Վաշինգտոնում կայանալիք ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթնաժողովի նախապատրաստմանը՝ Էրդողանը հավելել է, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի հիմնական պարտականությունն է դաշինքի ներսում համերաշխության և դաշնակիցների միջև համախմբվածության ապահովումը: Հաշվի առնելով, որ Ռյուտեն այդ պաշտոնի գլխավոր հավակնորդն է՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ անհրաժեշտ է ջանքեր գործադրել դաշնակիցների միջև պաշտպանական արդյունաբերության ոլորտում պատժամիջոցները, սահմանափակումներն ու խոչընդոտները վերացնելու համար:
Ռյուտեն իր հերթին նշել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ից հետո Թուրքիան ՆԱՏՕ-ում երկրորդ ուժն է, և ՆԱՏՕ-ի հարավային թևը Թուրքիայի և նրա առաջնորդության կարիքն ունի:
«Թուրքիան վճռական ջանքեր է գործադրում Գազայում իրավիճակի կարգավորման համար։ Միաժամանակ, նա միջոցներ է ձեռնարկում Ուկրաինայում այդ սարսափելի պատերազմի դեմ պայքարելու համար։ Թուրքիան շատ կարևոր դաշնակից է ՆԱՏՕ-ում։ Թուրքիան մի երկիր է, որը գտնվում է բարդ տարածաշրջանում, աշխարհագրական դիրքում, բարդ հարևաններով»,- ասել է Նիդերլանդների վարչապետը:
