ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտն ավելի խորն է մտցրել նիկոլիզմի դեմոկրատիայի մեջ՝ քան Freedom House-ի վերջին զեկույցը: Այս մասին Facebook-ի իր էջում գրել է ՀՀ Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Արտակ Զաքարյանը:
Նա նաեւ նշել է. «Ըստ ԱՄՆ պետդեպի զեկույցի՝ Հայաստանում կա կոռուպցիա, անպատժելիություն, մարդու իրավունքների լուրջ խնդիրներ, ոստիկանության չարաշահում, քաղաքական ընդդիմախոսների նկատմամբ ապօրինություններ, դատարանների կախվածություն, բռնություններ, խոշտանգումներ, կամայական ձերբակալություններ ու կալանքներ, և այլն:
Թե ինչո՞ւ են տարիների լռությունից հետո, հենց հիմա հիշել Նիկոլի հակադեմոկրատական ապօրինություններն ու բռնապետության ձգտող կառավարչությունը՝ առանձին թեմա է: Այդ մասին արժե լավ մտածել:
Սեփական աղետալի իշխանությունը պահելու մոլուցքով, Նիկոլը կարծես իր օտարերկրյա տերերի գրկում նորից փորձում է անկանոն շարժումներ անել: Հետևաբար՝ կա՛մ Նյու Նորիքի Ազատության արձանի ջահն է հարվածելու կապիտուլյանտի կառավարության դատարկ ու ստախոս գլխին, կա՛մ Կրեմլի աստղն է կրկին մտնելու նրանց համապատասխան վայրը, կա՛մ էլ թուրք-ադրբեջանական կիսալուսինն է նորից կանգնելու կապիտուլյանտի վախկոտ ու խոստումնաշատ (թուրքերին շատ խոստումներ տված) կոկորդին:
Սակայն, քանի որ այս ամենի արդյունքում տուժում է միայն հայ ժողովուրդն ու Հայաստանը, վաղուց արդեն ժամանակն է, որ հենց ՀՀ քաղաքացիները ձերբազատվեն հակահայ «իշխանություններից»»:
