Միջուկային էներգիայի միջազգային գործակալությունը (ՄԱԳԱՏԷ) հայտնել է, որ Իսրայելի հարվածների ժամանակ Իրանի միջուկային օբյեկտները չեն տուժել։ Գործակալության գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռաֆայել Գրոսսին կողմերին կոչ է արել ծայրահեղ զսպվածություն ցուցաբերել։
«ՄԱԳԱՏԷ-ն կարող է հաստատել, որ Իրանի միջուկային օբյեկտներին ոչ մի վնաս չի հասցվել։ Գործակալության գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռաֆայել Գրոսսին շարունակում է կոչ անել բոլորին ցուցաբերել ծայրահեղ զսպվածություն և կրկնում է, որ միջուկային օբյեկտները երբեք չպետք է թիրախ լինեն ռազմական հակամարտությունների ժամանակ», - X սոցիալական ցանցում ասվում է ՄԱԳԱՏԷ-ի հայտարարության մեջ:
Ապրիլի 19-ի գիշերը Իսրայելը հրթիռային հարված է հասցրել Իրանին։ The New York Times-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ թիրախը եղել է իրանական ավիաբազան Սպահան քաղաքի մոտակայքում։ Իրանի իշխանությունները հայտարարել են, որ հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգը գործարկվել է և վնասներ չեն հասցվել։
Bloomberg-ը գրել է, որ Իսրայելը նախօրեին զգուշացրել էր ԱՄՆ-ին Իրանի տարածքին մոտալուտ հարվածի մասին։ Հարձակումը պետք է պատասխան լիներ ապրիլի 14-ի գիշերը Իսրայելի վրա Իրանի հարձակմանը։
