«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այն, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և յուր իշխանության միակ հենարանը մնացել են իրավապահ մարմինները, հատկապես ոստիկանությունը, վաղուց նորություն չէ: Ըստ էության, այն պայմաններում, երբ 2023 թ. ընթացքում հանրապետությունում գրանցված հանցագործությունների ընդհանուր թվաքանակն աճել է 8,1%-ով, ոստիկանությունը փաստացի զբաղված է մեկ անձի պաշտպանությամբ. Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի նույնիսկ ամենափոքր տեղաշարժի դեպքում նրան ուղեկցում են բազմաթիվ ոստիկաններ, ամբողջ ճանապարհին գրեթե յուրաքանչյուր 100 մետրը մեկ կանգնած են ոստիկանական մեքենաներ, ամենափոքր ակցիայի դեպքում ոստիկանների հսկայական քանակ է դուրս բերվում ծառայության, որոնք չեն վարանում բիրտ ուժ կիրառել, մյուս կողմից՝ իրավապահները զբաղված են միայն «մոնիթորինգով», թե ով Փաշինյանի «թանին թթու ասաց»: Ըստ այդմ, երևի թե պատահական չէր կառավարության վերջին նիստում ընդունված որոշումը՝ ոստիկանների աշխատավարձը նորից բարձրացնելու մասին:

Ի մասնավորի, ըստ որոշման, ներքին գործերի նախարարության ոստիկանության զորքերի արտաքին ծառայություն իրականացնող ոստիկանների համար ամսական հավելումը 20 000 դրամից դարձավ 70 000 դրամ: Ընդ որում, պետք է հաշվի առնել, որ ոստիկանությունում աշխատավարձերը մեր երկրում դասվում են բարձրերի շարքում, ավելին՝ 2018 թվականից ի վեր այս համակարգը համարվում է պետության համար ամենածախսատարներից մեկը, սակայն փաստացի նորից են բարձրացնում:
