Իսրայելի կառավարության որոշ անդամներ առաջարկել են հարվածել Իրանին՝ ի պատասխան հարձակման: 

Սակայն, ըստ New York Times-ի, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի հետ հեռախոսազրույցից հետո Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուն հրաժարվել է հարձակվել Իրանի վրա։ Որպես պատճառ նշվել է իրանական հարվածի պատճառած համեմատաբար փոքր վնասը:

Հրատարակությունը նշում է նաև, որ որոշ իսրայելցի նախարարներ և օրենսդիրներ պահանջել են արագ և ագրեսիվ պատասխան տալ Իրանին՝ դրանով իսկ ճնշում գործադրելով երկրի ղեկավարների վրա։

«Եթե այս կառավարությունը չճանաչի իր պատասխանատվությունը՝ վերականգնելու զսպման տարրը և չպատասխանի՝ Իրանի վրա հարձակվելով, դա վտանգում է Իսրայել պետության ապագան», - ասել է աջակողմյան «Լիկուդ» կուսակցությունից Իսրայելի խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Թալի Գոտլիվը։

Միջազգային հանրությունը զսպվածության կոչ է արել Իսրայելին։

Իրանը շաբաթ գիշերն իր տարածքից ավելի քան 300 հարվածային անօդաչու թռչող սարք և հրթիռ է արձակել Իսրայելի ուղղությամբ, ինչն Իսլամական Հանրապետության առաջին ուղիղ հարձակումն էր Իսրայելի վրա: Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի խոսնակ Դանիել Հագարին ասել է, որ ընդհանուր առմամբ Իրանը ավելի քան 300 զինատեսակ է արձակել Իսրայելի ուղղությամբ՝ 170 անօդաչու թռչող սարք, 30 թևավոր և 120 բալիստիկ հրթիռ, և որ դրանց 99%-ը որսացել է Իսրայելի հակաօդային պաշտպանությունը:

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենն Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուի հետ զրույցում ասել է, որ Իրանի հարձակnւմն անհաջող էր և որ դա Իսրայելի համար հաղթանակ էր:

Մինչդեռ Իրանի նախագահ Էբրահիմ Ռաիսին հայտարարել է, որ Իսրայելի ցանկացած նոր արկածախնդրություն կարժանանա ավելի ծանր պատասխանի:

«Հետևելով մեր երկրի զինված ուժերի պատմական, հզոր և հաղթական գործողությանը՝ ապրիլի 13-ի ռազմական հարձակմանը, որը ծրագրվել և իրականացվել է ի պատասխան Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության նպատակների և շահերի դեմ սիոնիստական ռեժիմի ագրեսիվ գործողությունների, Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսը, երկրի բոլոր պաշտպանական և քաղաքական հատվածների հետ համագործակցությամբ և համակարգմամբ, երեկ երեկոյան նոր էջ է բացել Իրանի հեղինակության պատմության մեջ և դաս տվել սիոնիստ թշնամուն», - ասել է Իրանի նախագահը:

Իրանի Զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ, գեներալ-մայոր Մոհամադ Հոսեյն Բաղերին, մեկնաբանելով Իրանի գիշերային հարձակումն Իսրայելի վրա, հայտարարել է, որ իրենք այս գործողությունը դիտարկում են որպես արդյունք և իրենց տեսանկյունից այն ավարտվել է, այն շարունակելու մտադրություն չկա:

«Բայց եթե սիոնիստական ռեժիմը որևէ քայլ ձեռնարկի նաև մեր դեմ, մեր հողի վրա կամ Սիրիայում կամ այլ երկրում մեզ պատկանող օբյեկտներում, մեր հաջորդ գործողությունն ավելի մեծ կլինի», - նախազգուշացրել է Բաղերին:
