«Բաղրամյան պողոտայում սկսվել է համերգաշրջանը: Մի քանի օր է, ինչ այստեղ սպասում են Ռուբեն Հախվերդյանին: Նա հինգշաբթի չեկավ պողոտա՝ տեղեկացրեց, որ շաբաթ օրն է համերգ տալու: Երեկ էլ լուր ուղարկեց, որ հիվանդ է՝ համերգը չի կայանալու: Մեր թղթակիցը զրուցել է սիրված երգահանի հետ: «Համերգ տալ չեմ կարող, աղջիկս, շատ վատ եմ, եթե ուզում եք, որ ինձ սպանեք, խնդրեմ՝ պատրաստ եմ դրան: 180/120-ի վրա է ճնշումս, վատ եմ, էդ արդեն ինսուլտային վիճակ է, համերգ տալ չեմ կարող: Եթե ուզում եք, որ ինձ վերջին անգամ տեսնեք, խնդիր չկա՝ շտապօգնության մեքենայով թող գան, տանեն Բաղրամյան, ու վերջին անգամ էնտեղ երգեմ: Էնքան վատ եմ, որ երգեմ, միանգամից կմեռնեմ, ու էլ ժողովրդիս համար երգ գրող չի լինի»: Սակայն պողոտայում այս առումով այլ տեսակետներ են շրջանառվում:

 Ցուցարարները կարծում են, որ նրան հրահանգել են համերգ չտալ, որ Բաղրամյան պողոտան մարդաշատ չլինի, որ ակտիվիստները հոգնեն և գնան տուն: Սակայն մարդիկ մոռանում են, որ երգահանը վախեցողներից չէ: Ավելին՝ նրան այժմ հեռուստատեսություն չեն հրավիրում հենց բոցաշունչ ելույթների և իշխանությանն ուղղված թունդ քննադատության պատճառով: Իսկ ակցիաների առաջին օրերին նա գալիս էր Բաղրամյան պողոտա՝ ցուցարարներին աջակցելու: Եվ անգամ հարցազրույցում ասել էր, որ ուրախ է, որ երիտասարդներն իրենց ձեռքն են վերցրել պայքարի էստաֆետը և շատ լավ պայքարում են: «Փոքրիկ քայլերից գոհ չեմ, պետք է ամբողջ ՚հայությամբ պայքարենք: Ես երիտասարդների տեղը լինեի, կառաջարկեի ստեղծել մի մարմին, որը շարժումը  կղեկավարեր: Լավ կլիներ, որ հստակ պահանջներ ներկայացնեին ու պահանջեին, որ ովքեր այդ գումարները լափել են, պատասխանատվության ենթարկվեն: Հիմա արդեն տղաները ոտքի են կանգնել, մենք պետք է նրանց հախից գանք»»,–գրում է թերթը։
