SpaceX-ը մեծ շնորհանդես է անցկացրել, որին մասնակցել է կազմակերպության ղեկավար Իլոն Մասկը։ Միլիարդատերը կիսվել է SpaceX-ի ապագայի վերաբերյալ իր տեսլականով, ինչպես նաև Մարսի գաղութացման շուրջ մոտավոր ծրագրի մասին: Մասկի ելույթի ձայնագրությունը հասանելի է YouTube-ում և SpaceX X-ի պաշտոնական էջում։

Միլիարդատիրոջ խոսքով՝ հսկա Starship 3 հրթիռը հիմք կծառայի Մարսի գաղութացման համար։ Starship 3-ը հագեցած է նոր սերնդի Raptor շարժիչով, որի շնորհիվ հրթիռը կկարողանա տեղափոխել մինչև 200 տոննա բեռ։

Մասկը չի հստակեցրել, թե երբ է շահագործման հանձնվելու Starship 3-ը, սակայն ընդգծել է, որ այն շատ քիչ կարժենա ընկերությանը։ Նրա խոսքով՝ եթե Falcon 1-ի մեկնարկն այժմ արժե 10 մլն դոլար, ապա Starship 3-ը կարժենա 2-3 մլն դոլար։

«Ոչ ոք երբեք չի մտածել, որ դա հնարավոր կլինի: Ավելին, հայտարարված նպատակին հասնելու համար մենք ընդհանրապես ստիպված չենք լինի խախտել ֆիզիկայի օրենքները»,- նշել է Մասկը։ Բացի այդ, SpaceX-ի ղեկավարը հավելել է, որ իր ընկերությանը մոտ 20 տարի կպահանջվի Մարսի ուսումնասիրության համար։ Այդ ընթացքում, նրա խոսքով, մոտ մեկ միլիոն մարդ կարող է ուղարկվել կարմիր մոլորակ, ինչը բավական է ինքնաբավ գաղութային քաղաք ստեղծելու համար:

Միևնույն ժամանակ, միլիարդատերը կարծում է, որ նորաստեղծ մարսեցիների մեծ մասը դեռ չի կարողանա վերադառնալ հայրենի մոլորակ։
