Դանիացիների նոր ձեռքբերումներն արևային էներգիայի ոլորտում

Դանիայի տեխնիկական համալսարանի ֆիզիկոսների և ինժեներների թիմը լուրջ առաջընթաց է գրանցել արևային էներգետիկայի ոլորտում։ Գիտական ամսագրում հրապարակված նրանց հետազոտությունը բացահայտում է սելենի և սիլիկոնի օգտագործմամբ տանդեմային արևային տարրերի ստեղծման պոտենցիալը։ Նյութերի այդ միախառնումը թեորեապես կարող է ավելացնել արևային տարրերի արդյունավետությունը մինչև 40 %։
Արևային մարտկոցներն արդեն վաղուց դարձել են համաշխարհային էներգետիկայի կարևոր մասը և թույլ են տալիս կրճատել կախվածությունն արդյունահանվող վառելիքից՝ նվազեցնելով ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումները, բայց առկա արևային տարրերը դեռևս հարկավոր է բարելավել։ Ներկայումս դրանք կարողանում են կլանել արևային էներգիայի ընդամենը 27 %-ը, ինչը մոտ է տեսական առավելագույն սահմանաչափին, իսկ դանիական հետազոտողներն առաջարկում են օգտագործել սելենը որպես սիլիկոնի լրացուցիչ նյութ, որպեսզի բարձրացնեն արևային տարրերի արդյունավետությունը։ Սելեն կոչվող նյութն ընդունակ է արևային լույսի ավելի լայն սեկտր կլանել և դա նրան կատարյալ հավելում է դարձնում։
Արևային տարրերի ստեղծման համար հատուկ տեխնոլոգիա են մշակել, որտեղ քիմիական ռեակցիաների միջոցով ստանում են համապատասխան ծածկույթ։ Գիտնականների թիմը վստահ է, որ մի շարք փորձերից հետո կկարողանան արդյունավետությունը հասցնել մինչև 40 %։
Այս լուրջ ճեղքումը թույլ կտա Եվրամիությանը նոր հեռանկարներ բացել արևային վահանակների և մարտկոցների արտադրության համար, ինչպես նաև պայքարել չինական ավելի էժան արևային սարքավորումների դեմ։
