Հայաստանը տարբեր փուլերում բավականին ընդգրկուն համագործակցություն է ունեցել և´ ԱՄՆ-ի, և´ ԵՄ-ի և որոշակի ուղղություններով նաև ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ, սակայն դրանք նախորդ շրջափուլերում երբեք չեն դիտարկվել որպես հակառուսական գործընթաց, առավել ևս, նոր պատերազմի առիթ, պատճառ կամ սպառնալիք չեն դարձել:
Հիմա իրականությունն այլ է. կա անձ, որն իր արկածախնդրությամբ Հայաստանն արդեն վերածել է օբյեկտի` միակողմանի ընդունելով հարվածներ, որոնք տասնամյակներով Հայաստանին հետ են շպրտել դեպի ճահիճ, հուսահատություն, անորոշություն», - գրել է նա:
