«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Վաղը՝ ապրիլի 5-ին, ուշագրավ քաղաքական իրադարձություն է տեղի ունենալու Հայաստանում: «Արմենիա Մարիոթ» հյուրանոցում տեղի կունենա «Համահայկական ճակատ» կուսակցության հիմնադիր համագումարը։ Արտաքուստ սովորական երևույթ է, որ նոր ստեղծվող կուսակցությունը հիմնադիր համագումար է հրավիրելու: Սակայն վերը նշված «ուշագրավությունն» այն է, որ թեպետ կուսակցության հիմնադիրը նույնանուն շարժման առաջնորդ, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, գեներալ֊մայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանն է, սակայն հնարավոր է, որ այդ կուսակցությունը դե յուրե ունենա այլ նախագահ: «Փաստի» տեղեկություններով, Արշակ Կարապետյանը կուսակցության նախագահի ընտրության հարցը թողել է համագումարի հայեցողությանը:

Բանն այն է, որ, մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, Կարապետյանը ցանկանում է պահպանել «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման բուն էությունն ու բովանդակությունը՝ հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ շարժման մեջ ներգրավված են տարբեր կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչներ և անկուսակցականներ, և այս կերպ նրանք պարտավորված չեն լինի մտնել նորաստեղծ կուսակցության մեջ, այլ իրենց գործունեությունը կշարունակեն շարժման շարքերում: Նախատեսվում է, որ համագումարը կլինի բազմամարդ, կլինեն ողջույնի խոսքեր այլ քաղաքական ուժերի ղեկավարների կողմից։ Հյուրեր կլինեն ինչպես Հայաստանից, այնպես էլ արտերկրից։

Ի դեպ, Արշակ Կարապետյանը համագումարին կներկայացնի կուսակցության հիմնադրման նպատակները։ Գեներալմայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանը նախօրեին կոչ է արել բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր սիրում են իրենց հայրենիքը, ովքեր պատրաստ են պաշտպանել իրենց հայրենիքը և ովքեր պատրաստ են շենացնել այն, միանալ «Համահայկական ճակատ» կուսակցության հիմնադիր համագումարին, համախմբվել և միասին քննարկել, թե ինչպես են տեսնում Հայաստանի ապագան։
