ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտը անդրադարձել է հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին կուտակումների վերաբերյալ Ադրբեջանի կողմից տարածվող ապատեղեկատվությանը

Մենք զգուշացնում ենք և կշարունակենք զգուշանալ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի երկայնքով սրվող հռետորաբանության կամ ռազմական գործողությունների դեմ. այս մասին ճեպազրույցում հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտի խոսնակ Մեթյու Միլլերը՝ անդրադառնալով Ադրբեջանի կողմից տարածվող կեղծ տեղեկատվությանն այն մասին, թե իբր Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերը սահմանագոտու տարբեր ուղղություններում անձնակազմի և զինտեխնիկայի կուտակումներ, ակտիվ տեղաշարժեր է իրականացնում:
«Մենք շաբաթավերջին տեսանք Ադրբեջանի կառավարության հայտարարությունը: Նշեմ, որ ԵՄ դիտորդական առաքելությունը երեկ հայտարարեց, որ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին հանգիստ է և հանգիստ է եղել, զորքերի և հրետանու արտասովոր տեղաշարժեր չկան, չնայած այդ հայտարարություններին։ Մենք զգուշացնում ենք և կշարունակենք զգուշանալ սահմանի երկայնքով սրվող հռետորաբանության կամ ռազմական գործողությունների դեմ: Մենք շարունակում ենք խրախուսել տարածաշրջանում արդար և արժանապատիվ խաղաղության պայմանների ստեղծումը, որտեղ հարգվում են բոլորի իրավունքները։ Եվ ինչպես դուք բազմիցս լսել եք ինձ այս ամբիոնից, կայուն խաղաղություն ապահովելու միակ ճանապարհը բանակցությունների սեղանն է»,-ասել է Միլլերը։
Հարցին, թե արդյոք ապրիլի 5-ին հայկական կողմից հետ Բլինքենի հանդիպման առնչությամբ փոփոխություն եղել է կամ ադրբեջանական կողմը հրավիրվել է հանդիպմանը, Միլլերը վերահաստատել է.
«Հիշեք, այս հանդիպումը Հայաստանի բարեփոխումների և նրա ժողովրդավարության, տնտեսության և ճկունության մասին է: Խաղաղ գործընթացը այս հանդիպման կիզակետում չէ. սա հանդիպում է ԱՄՆ-ի, ԵՄ-ի և Հայաստանի միջև՝ քննարկելու տնտեսական դիվերսիֆիկացումը, մարդասիրական օգնությունը, փախստականներին և Հայաստանի քաղաքական բարեփոխումներին աջակցելն այնպիսի ոլորտներում, ինչպիսիք են ժողովրդավարությունը և օրենքի գերակայությունը: Դա տարածաշրջանային ուղղվածություն ունեցող հանդիպում չէ»։
