Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը երեկ խորհրդարանում լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում հայտարարել է, թե դեռ այս փուլում Եվրամիության անդամակցության դիմում ներկայացնելու քննարկում չկա։

Սիմոնյանն իր այս հայտարարությունը բացատրել է նրանով, որ Հայաստանը իբր չի ցանկանում դիմում ներկայացնել և Թուրքիայի ու Վրաստանի պես տարիներով սպասել Եվրամիության կողմից այդ դիմումի հաստատմանը։

Ընդամենն օրեր առաջ եվրախորհրդարանը բանաձև էր ընդունել ԵՄ գործադիր մարմիններին կոչ անելով դիտարկել Հայաստանի անդամակցության դիմումը։ Դրանից հետո Կառավարության նիստում Փաշինյանը հանրային լայն քննարկման կոչ էր արել, իսկ արևմտյան մամուլում և Հայաստանում գործող իշխանություններին սերտ առնչվող փորձագետների և ԶԼՄ-ների հաղորդագրություններում կարմիր գծի պես անցնում էր անհապաղ ԵՄ անդամակցության դիմում ներկայացնելու պահանջը։

Թե ո՞րն է պատճառը, որ առնվազն այս պահին իշխանությունները հետ քայլ են անում, ո՛չ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը ,ո՛չ էլ գործող վարչախմբի մյուս ներկայացուցիչները չեն պարզաբանում, հատկապես ապրիլի 5-ի հանդիպումից առաջ, որտեղ բավականին լուրջ քննարկում է լինելու ներկայացուցչական կազմով։

Նշենք, որ հանդիպմանը մասնակցելու ցանկություն ունեն ոչ միայն եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ուրսուլա Ֆոնդերլայնը, ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենը, այլև , ըստ որոշ տեղեկությունների, դրան կմիանան նաև նախարարներ Ֆրանսիայից և Մեծ Բրիտանիայից։

Չի բացառվում նաև Գերմանիայի արտգործնախարար Բերվոքի մասնակցությունը, ընդ որում, ըստ եվրոպական աղբյուրների, քննարկվելու են խաղաղության եվրոպական մեխանիզմի միջոցով Հաայստանին որոշակի սպառազինություն հատկացնելու հարցերը։
