ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի փոխնախագահ Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը կարծում է, որ անհրաժեշտ է «սպանել» բոլորին, ովքեր ներգրավված են մերձմոսկովյան Կրասնոգորսկ քաղաքի «Կրոկուս Սիթի Հոլլում» տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության մեջ։ Համապատասխան գրառումը հրապարակվել է նրա Telegram ալիքում։
Ըստ նրա՝ այդ մարդկանց պետք է վերացնել, «և դա հենց այդպես էլ կլինի»։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, քաղաքական գործիչը նշել է, որ շատ ավելի կարևոր է ոչնչացնել ողբերգության մեջ ներգրավված բոլոր նրանց, «ովքեր վճարել են, ովքեր համակրել են, ովքեր օգնել են»։
«Կրոկուս» տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության ֆոնին՝ Դաշնային խորհրդի սենատոր Ելենա Աֆանասևան ասել է, որ ռուսներն ակնկալում են, որ մահապատժի մորատորիումը կհանվի որոշ ծանր հանցագործությունների, այդ թվում՝ ահաբեկչության համար։ «Եդինայա Ռոսիա» կուսակցությունը խոստացել է աշխատել մահապատժի թեմայով։
Իր հերթին, Պետդումայի Պետական շինարարության և օրենսդրության կոմիտեի ղեկավար Պավել Կրաշենիննիկովը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանում մահապատժի վերաբերյալ վեճերը կարող են սխալ ուղղությամբ տանել։
