«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Առօրյա-կենցաղային մեր բառուբանում այդպիսի հեգնական արտահայտություն կա՝ «երջանկությունից մեռնում ենք»: Հիմա՝ իսկը այդ դեպքն է: Կա, ուրեմն, «Երջանկության մասին» համաշխարհային զեկույց: Նորն է հրապարակվել, թարմը: Թե այդ զեկույցը կազմողներն ինչ չափանիշներ, չափորոշիչներ են կիրառել, առհասարակ, հայտնի է, բայց... Բայց պետք էր չափազանց ցինիկ լինել՝ Հայաստանը տարածաշրջանում ամենաերջանիկ երկրների, հասարակությունների շարքը խցկելու համար:

Ահավասիկ, ըստ այդ զեկույցի, Հայաստանը 82-րդ տեղում է, իսկ հարևան երկրներից Վրաստանը՝ 2024 թ. աշխարհի ամենաերջանիկ երկրների շարքում զբաղեցնում է 91-րդ հորիզոնականը, Թուրքիան՝ 98-րդ, Իրանը՝ 100-րդ: Ու այս «երջանկավետ» զեկույցը իշխանական քարոզչությունը, ընկալելով որպես երկնային մանանա, անմիջապես սկսեց տարփողել, թե՝ տեսե՜ք, համոզվե՜ք, որ Հայաստանը, Հայաստանի ժողովուրդը Վրաստանից, Թուրքիայից, Իրանից, ամենակարևորը՝ Ադրբեջանից երջանիկ է:

Չէ, լուրջ՝ «երջանկությունից կոտորվում ենք», «երջանկության մեջ լող տալիս», պարզապես մենք՝ Հայաստանում ապրողներս, տեղյակ չենք: Երկիրը, որն իր իշխանությունների վարած «քաղաքականության», վախկոտական «դիրքորոշման» հետևանքով կորցրել է Արցախը, կորցրել է իր անվտանգային վահանը, իր կենսատարածքը... երջանկության ցուցանիշով առաջ է անցել անգամ թշնամուց:

Իմիջիայլոց, երեկ էլ ինչ-որ «Երջանկության համաշխարհային օրն» էր: Ու սարսափելի է պատկերացնել, թե համաշխարհային զեկույցներով Հայաստանը երջանիկ երկրների շարքում ո՛ր տեղը կգրավի, երբ Տավուշը թշնամու ոտի տակ դնելու փաշինյանական ծրագիրն իրագործվի: Երևի «երջանկության ցուցանիշով» աշխարհի չեմպիոն կդառնանք:
