Այսօր Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցին նշում է Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի սոսկալի չարչարանքների ու Վիրապ մտնելու հիշատակության օրը։ Ամեն տարի այս տոնը նշվում է Մեծ Պահքի 6-րդ կիրակիի նախորդ շաբաթ օրը, գրում է qahana.am-ը։

Մարտի 16-ին Արարատյան Հայրապետական թեմի բոլոր եկեղեցիներում կմատուցվի բաց Խորանով Ս. Պատարագ: Ավարտին կբաշխվի Ս. Հաղորդություն: Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցին կտոնի հայոց առաջին հայրապետի՝ Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի հիշատակության երեք տոներից մեկը: 
 
Ըստ Ավանդության Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչը դիմացավ չարչարանքներին, չկորցրեց հավատն ու հայոց աշխարհում տարածեց Քրիստոսի լույսը: 
 
Ըստ պատմական աղբյուրների` Գրիգորը Անակ Պարթև իշխանի որդին էր: Անակ Պարթևը, սպանելով հայոց Արշակունի Խոսրով թագավորին, սպանվում է հայ իշխանների կողմից: Գրիգորը կրթություն է ստանում Կեսարիայում՝ դաստիարակվելով որպես բարեպաշտ քրիստոնյա: Հետագայում դառնում է Խոսրով արքայի որդու՝ Տրդատ թագավորի արքունի դիվանապետը: Տրդատը չէր ընդունում քրիստոնեությունը: Նա հրամայում է Գրիգորին երկրպագել Անահիտ աստվածուհուն։ Դիվանապետը մերժում է: Տրդատ արքան, իմանալով, որ քրիստոնյա է, նաև իր հորը սպանած Անակի որդին է, նրան չարչարանքների է ենթարկում ու նետում Խոր Վիրապի զնդանը:   
 
Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչը չարչարանքների է ենթարկվում 13 տարի: Ըստ ավանդության՝ թագավորը հիվանդանում է: Արքայի քույրը՝ Խոսրովիդուխտը, երազ է տեսնում, որ եղբորը կարող է բուժել միայն Գրիգորը: Լուսավորիչը, դուրս գալով ստորգետնյա զնդանից, քարոզում է քրիստոնեություն: 
 
Փրկության լույսը
 
Տարիների ընթացքում սոսկալի չարչարանքները ոչ թե թուլացնում, այլ ամրացնում են Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի հավատը: Նա հաղթում է խավարին, դառնում քրիստոնեական լույսի աղբյուր հայոց աշխարհում, նշում է Ս. Երրորդություն եկեղեցու խորհրդակատար Տեր Հուսիկ քահանա Դոխոլյանը. 

«Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի սոսկալի չարչարանքները եղան հայ ժողովրդի համար փրկության լույսը: Այդ լույսի շնորհիվ մեր երկրում տարածվեց Աստծո սերը: Թադեոս և Բարդուղիմեոս առաքյալների կողմից սերմանվածը ծաղիկ ու պտուղ տվեց»:
 
Հոգևորականը հիշեցնում է 4-րդ դարի Ընդհանրական Եկեղեցու սուրբ Հովհան Ոսկեբերանի ներբողը՝ նվիրված Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսավորչին.
 
«Ապրում էր իժերի և քարբերի մեջ, որտեղ ոչ զրուցակից կար, ոչ վշտակցող բարեկամ, ոչ օգնական, ոչ մխիթարող և ոչ ծառայող: Նա համբերում էր մեծ ժուժկալությամբ, իբրև կենդանի դրված գերեզմանի մեջ, անտուն, մերկ, գիշեր-ցերեկ, ամռան շոգին և ձմռան սառնամանիքին, քանզի մոտ էր Աստծուն»:
 
Իրապես լինենք Լուսավորչի զավակները
 
Հիշատակության օրը առիթ է ևս մեկ անգամ հիշելու, որ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչը համբերությամբ ու հաստատակամությամբ տարավ բոլոր չարչարանքները, ընդգծում է Տեր Հուսիկը.
 
«Համբերությունը և ոչ թե անտարբերությունը քրիստոնյայի հոգևոր կյանքի հիմքն է: Համբերությունից ծնվում է հավատը: Համբերությամբ մեր Տերը բարձրացավ խաչի վրա: Համբերությամբ, առաքյալների միջոցով տարածվեց քրիստոնեությունը»:
 
Հոգևորականը հորդորում է, որ իրապես լինենք Լուսավորչի զավակները, դառնանք իրական հավատի կրող: Հիշեցնում է Պողոս առաքյալի խոսքը՝ Աբրահամի զավակները նրանք չենք, որ գենետիկորեն սերում են Աբրահամից:
 
«Իմացե՛ք, ուրեմն, որ Աբրահամի որդիներ են նրանք, ովքեր հավատին են ապավինում»։ (ԳԱՂԱՏ. 3;7) 
 
«Լինե՛նք այն պատգամների կրողը, որ փոխանցում են մեր հայրապետները: Յուրաքանչյուրս վերանորոգենք այն ուխտը, որ կապել են մեր հայրերը՝ սկսած Թադեոս և Բարդուղիմեոս առաքյալներից, մինչև մեր Եկեղեցի: Հավատարիմ լինենք այդ ուխտին, ունենանք հոգևոր վերածնունդ»:
