ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի վարչակազմը ներկայացրել է իր արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթությունները, որոնք լրագրողներին է ներկայացրել Պետքարտուղարության պաշտոնյան։ «ԱՄՆ կառավարությունը համագործակցում է Ադրբեջանի հետ մի շարք առանցքային ոլորտներում, որոնք առաջնահերթ են երկու երկրների համար»,- ադրբեջանական «Թուրան» գործակալության Վաշինգտոնի թղթակցին ասել է պետքարտուղարի տեղակալ Ռիչ Վերման։ Նա նշել է, որ 2025 ֆինանսական տարվա համար Ադրբեջանին ուղղված դիմումը ներառում է աջակցություն տնտեսական աճին և առևտրի ընդլայնմանը, անգլերեն լեզվի ուսուցման հնարավորություններին, քաղաքացիական հասարակությանն ու անկախ լրատվամիջոցներին, ինչպես նաև իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպություններին և տարածաշրջանում երկխոսությանն ու վստահությանը խթանելու միջոցառումներին։ Վարչակազմը շուրջ 12,5 մլն դոլարի երկկողմանի օգնություն է խնդրել Ադրբեջանի համար
Հիշեցնենք, որ շաբաթներ առաջ «Ամերիկյան ամենահեղինակավոր վերլուծական կենտրոններից մեկը՝ «Council on Foreign Relations»-ը (Արտաքին հարաբերությունների խորհուրդ) 2024 թվականի համար իր տարեկան կանխատեսման մեջ նշել է, որ Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան նոր պատերազմը հավանական է, սակայն ԱՄՆ-ի համար չունի առաջնահերթություն: Ստացվում է, որ Վաշինգտոնն իր արտաքին քաղաքական առաջնահերթություններում շատ ավելի մեծ տեղ է հատկացնում ավտորիտար Ադրբեջանի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը և երկկողմ օրակարգին, քան ՝ դեմոկրատիայի բաստիոն Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերություններին: Բայդենի վարչակազմի արտաքին քաղաքական առաջնահերթությունների շարքում Հայաստանն ընդհանրապես որևէ տեղ չունի և, ըստ էության, պաշտոնական Երևանին Վաշինգտոնը օգտագործում է որպես գործիք՝ Հարավային Կովկասում ՌԴ ազդեցությունը թուլացնելու և Մոսկվային տնտեսական ու անվտանգային լծակներից զրկելու նպատակով: Ակնհայտ է, որ եթե Վաշինգտոնը ստիպված լինի ընտրություն կատարել՝ զոհաբերել Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները, թե Ադրբեջանի, ապա անտարակույս ընտրելու է առաջին տարբերակը..
