Աստղերն էլ սովորական մարդիկ են, եւ ոչ մի կերպ պաշտպանված չեն տարբեր ծանր հիվանդություններից։
Պամելա Անդերսոն
Հեպատիտ С 48-ամյա աստղը միայն վերջերս է կարողացել լավանալ այս հիվանդությունից, որով վարակվել է 16 տարի առաջ՝ նախկին ամուսնուց՝ ռոք-երաժիշտ Տոմմի Լիից, երբ նրանք նույն ասեղով տատու էին արել։ «Այն ժամանակ այդ ախտորոշումն ինձ համար հավասար էր մահվան դատապարտվելու»,- պատմել է դերասանուհին։
Հյու Ջեքման
Մաշկի քաղցկեղ Դերասանը 2013-ին չորս անգամ վիրահատվել է, եւ այժմ խորհուրդ է տալիս զգույշ լինել ու «դեմքը արեւից հեռու պահել»։
Շերոն Սթոուն
Ուղեղի անոթների անեվրիզմա Շարոն Սթոունն այն բացառիկ երջանիկներից է, ովքեր այս ծանր հիվանդությունից հետո ողջ են մնում ու ոտքի կանգնում։ 2001-ին նա 9 օր անցկացրեց հիվանդանոցում, իսկ հետո 2 տարի կրկին քայլել, խոսել ու գրել-կարդալ էր սովորում։ «Ծերությունն ինձ չի վախեցնում, ես ուզում եմ ծերանալ։ Պետք է վախենալ ոչ թե ծերությունից, այլ մինչեւ ծերություն չապրելուց»,- ասում է դերասանուհին։
Կայլի Մինոգ
Կրծքի քաղցկեղ 2015-ին Մինոգը նշեց 10 տարին առանց քաղցկեղի։ Նրա մոտ այդ հիվանդւոյթունը հայտնաբերվեց 36 տարեկանում, երկու կուրծքն էլ ստիպված էին հեռացնել։ Հետո երկարատեւ բուժում, որը հիշելիս երգչուհին մինչեւ հիմա լաց է լինում։
Թոմ Հենքս
Շաքարային դիաբետ Հենքսը 36 տարեկանից ապրում էր նախադիաբետային վիճակում, իսկ 57 տարեկանում ի վերջո նրան ախտորոշեցին դիաբետ։ Այժմ նա հատուկ դիետայի է հետեւում ու դեղեր ընդունում։ «Պիցցան ամենահամեղ բանն է այն ամենից, ինչ մարդկությունը երբեւէ հորինել է։ Բայց դժբախտաբար, այն ինձ համար սարսափեի վտանգավոր է»,- ասում է դերասանը։

Լայմի հիվանդություն Այս հիվանդությունն անցնում է միջատների խայթոցի միջոցով, եթե գենետիկ հակում ունես։ Ցավոք, դերասանի մոտ այն արդեն խրոնիկ է դարձել՝ չնայած բուժումներին։

Լեզվի քաղցկեղ «Այն հայտնաբերեցին 4-րդ շրջանում, իսկ 5-րդ չի լինում։ Դա մեծ ցնցում էր»,- պատմում է դերասանը, ում հրաշքով հաջողվել է բուժվել 2010-ին ախտորոշած այս հիվանդությունից։

Գայլախտ Բուն հիվանդությունը մահացու չէ, բայց կարող է մահացու հետեւանքներ թողնել, եթե բարդացումներ լինեն։ Սելենա Գոմեսի մոտ այն հայտնաբերվել է 21 տարեկանում, եւ մինչ օրս նա պայքարում է դրա դեմ։
