Օրհան Փամուքը քննադատել է Թուրքիայում ժողովրդավարության բացակայությունը

Գրականության ոլորտում Նոբելյան մրցանակակիր, թուրք գրող Օրհան Փամուքը քննադատել է Թուրքիայում խաղաղության կոչ անող ակադեմիկոսների ձերբակալությունը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է թուրքական «Հուրիեթ» պարբերականը:

Իտալական  La Repubblica պարբերականին տված մեկնաբանության մեջ Փամուքը նշել է, որ այդ ձերբակալությունը միայն վնաս է հասցրել Թուրքիայի` առանց այդ էլ սահմանափակ ժողովրդավարությանը: «Հայտարարություն հրապարակելն ու դրա տակ ստորագրելը ցանկացած ժողովրդավարության հիմնական գործողություններից է: Չեմ կարծում, որ գտնվի մի այնպիսի ժողովրդավարություն, որտեղ չեն թույլատրի ակադեմիկոսներին արտահայտել սեփական գաղափարները»,- նշել է թուրք գրողը:

Փամուքը նշել է, որ Թուրքիայում չկա ժողովրդավարություն, որտեղ կհարգվեն խոսքի ազատությունը, իշխանությունների տարանջատումը, համալսարանների ինքնիշխանությունը: «Մի երկրում, որտեղ ակադեմիկոսներին պարտադրում են ընդունել կառավարության որոշումները, ժողովրդավարության մասին խոսք գնալ չի կարող»,- ասել է նա:

Թուրք ավելի քան հազար ակադեմիկոսներ ստորագրել էին իշխանություններինհասցեագրված հայտարարության տակ, որում նրանք կոչ էին անում դադարեցնելբռնությունները երկրի հարավ-արևելքում և «Քրդական հարցը» կարգավորել խաղաղճանապարհով։ Այս հայտարարությունը զայրացրել էր նախագահ Ռեջեփ ԹայիփԷրդողանին , ով «դավաճան» էր անվանել գիտնականներին և հրահանգել դատախազությանը նրանց դեմ հետաքննություն սկսել: Արդյունքում 21 ակադեմիկոսձերբակալվել էին, իսկ ավելի ուշ` ազատ արձակվել:
