Զարմանալի փաստ է, նրանք, ովքեր տևական ժամանակ բարձր պաշտոններ են զբաղեցնում փաշինյանական վարչախմբի կազմում, դուրս գալուց հետո հանկարծ հիշում են, որ այդ վարչախումբը դավաճանելու ընդունակություն ունի։

Հատուկ հանձնարարություններով նախկին դեսպան Էդմոն Մարուքյանն ուղիղ եթերում խոսել է իր հրաժարականի պատճառների մասին, նշել, որ փաշինյանական վարչախմբի վերջին անհամաձայնություններից մեկն էլ կապված է եղել սահմանադրության փոփոխությունների հետ։

Մարուքյանը պնդում է, որ թե՛ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների խորհրդում, թե՛ վարաչպետի հետ իր առանձին խոսակցություններում ասել է, որ դեմ է Սահմանադրության՝ նշված ձևաչափով փոփոխությանը, անգամ եթե դա ներքին կյանքի համար է և ներքին կյանքի օրակարգն է։

Ըստ Մարուքյանի՝ շեշտել է, թե դեմ է պետականության հիմքերը վերանայելուն։

«Եթե ես զգում եմ, որ պետականության հիմքերի վերանայումը, դրանց քննարկումները խնդիր են առաջացնում, ես չեմ կարող դա չանել, նաև սա է մեր վերջին անհամաձայնությունը, որ մենք ունեցանք մեր գործընկերների հետ»,- նշել է Մարուքյանը՝ ըստ էության փաստելով, որ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանություններն իրենց առջև խնդիր են դրել ամեն գնով փոխել Հայաստանի Սահմանադրությունը և նախաբանից հեռացնել առանցքային փաստաթղթերից մեկը՝ Անկախության հռչակագիրը, որն էլ հենց Երրորդ Հանրապետության ստեղծման առանցքային և կարևորագույն փաստաթուղթն է։

Հույս ունենանք, որ Մարուքյանն առաջիկայում նաև կմանրամասնի, թե կոնկրետ այլ ինչ դավաճանական քայլեր էր անում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի գլխավորած իշխանությունը թե՛ այս, թե՛ արտաքին քաղաքական վեկտորի փոփոխության հարցերում։

Ի վերջո, մամուլում բազմիցս գրվել է, որ կոնկրետ արտաքին քաղաքական ուղղվածության փոփոխության հարցերով իսկապես տարաձայնություններ են եղել Էդմոն Մարուքյանի և Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականությունը որոշողների միջև։
