Франция стремится «создать альянс» стран, которые готовы к отправке своих вооруженных сил на Украину. Об этом пишет Politico.
«Франция создает альянс стран, готовых потенциально отправить западные войска в Украину и в перспективе углубляет свое столкновение с более осторожным Берлином», — говорится в сообщении издания.
Издание напоминает читателям, что большинство европейских стран, включая Германию, Чехию и Польшу отрицательно отнеслись к перспективе отправки солдат на Украину, о чем ранее говорил президент Франции Эммануэль Макрон. Однако Эстония, Латвия и Литва, пишет Politico, «гораздо более открыты для этой идеи».
До этого сенатор Алексей Пушков заявил, что президенту Франции Эммануэлю Макрону и главе МИД Польши Радославу Сикорскому нужно обсудить, к чему может привести отправка войск НАТО на Украину.
27 февраля Макрон допустил возможность отправки войск стран ЕС на Украину. Он сообщил, что возможность отправки сухопутных войск стран Евросоюза на Украину обсуждали на конференции в Париже.
