В МИД Турции прокомментировали планы США создать порт в Газе

Глава МИД Турции Хакан Фидан назвал инициативу США создать временный порт в Газе результатом международной реакции. Об этом пишет газета Star.
При этом Фидан отметил, что многие страны почувствовали себя обязанными что-то сделать.
8 марта пресс-секретарь Пентагона Патрик Райдер сообщил, что США контактируют с партнерами по созданию временного порта в секторе Газа для доставки гумпомощи, но на его строительство уйдет несколько недель. Он также заявлял, что Вашингтон направил в сектор Газа гуманитарную помощь на сумму до $180 млн и продолжают искать новые способы для того, чтобы доставлять ее местному населению. Представитель Пентагона добавил, что кроме сухопутных маршрутов помощи, американское военное ведомство также организовало доставку гуманитарных грузов по воздуху и планирует построить порт для доставки грузов морским путем.
Глава Еврокомиссии Урсула фон дер Ляйен сообщала об открытии морского гуманитарного коридора для поставок помощи в Палестину с Кипра.
